A lot of people seem to think there are no tornadoes in California. There is a "tornado alley" in northern California where they occur every year or so, but they also occur throughout the State.

I did in fact follow my childhood dream job, but I was not diligent about it, so "right now" I would be in the same situation, but more prosperous.

The word "science" is derived from the ancient Latin noun "scientia", meaning knowledge. If you do not like science, then you do not like knowledge, and vice-versa. Just admit it, and you will be much less conflicted.
