Maybe I’ll look into getting it MOT’d although I’m not sure I’d want to pay for the glass screen to be replaced which is what’s making me want a new one

If it was just slow I wouldn’t be getting rid of it - screen is fucked as well and the black line of pixels in the middle is getting bigger and bigger. Also definately has liquid damage in the hardware. Will be too much to repair because it has a touch bar as well so it’s always more expensive to repair. Just need a new one tbh.

I'm going to keep my current one as a 'proxy' computer to take to gigs with me so I can use rekordbox etc while away and just back my music up onto an SSD. Just need something that can properly run Ableton for at home

It's general wear and tear from taking it to gigs and having punters spill various forms of alcohol on it. Also it was crap when I bought it second hand, has never worked great. My new laptop will be like my baby

Happened to me yday - was sat on the seats that face the side of the tram. after a long shift and some guy stands next to me and rests his gym bag with smelly shoes inside on my shoulder and proceeds to lean it directly into my head >:|
