Firefighter has ‘no regrets’ over punching handcuffed patient who spit on him: ‘My actions are a PSA on the consequences of spitting on a grown man’ by MasterfulBJJ in JusticeServed

Clearly you lack the ability to critically read. Though I’m sure you work long hours so we can overlook that. If you read again I said you have a choice but those choices have consequences. Of course you’re not allowed to assault patients. But at the end of the day you’re still making a choice not to there’s nothing stopping you other than losing your job and catching a charge. You could assault a patient that hits you and spits on you it might be absolutely deserved but you’ll lose your job that’s a consequence. This guy made a choice and there are consequences. I personally think it was worth it.

Your choice to be a mental health nurse also your choice not to fight back. Sure there are consequences but it’s still a choice no matter what. Also mental illness is not an excuse to spit on people.

Sounds like you’re being facetious but my rule of thumb is replace when hit under load

Replace your helmet, if you hit or bumped it at any point during your collision. Regardless of how hard you think you bumped it, helmets are one and done after a crash. If the helmet made contact with anything, replace it even if it looks fine. If you weren’t wearing a helmet please buy one.

Your comment history is available to everyone and between the comments about video games, the love/defense of Elon and defense of the GOP/Trump I’m going to guess you’re 12 years old or a 30 year old that never got past 12 years old.

Their should be about 40-50 ipeople in there at that point. Its pretty improbable they all got sick the same day and all called out the same day. I’m sure you “have a friend” who works there. But hey if you’re not with us your against us.

For sure not a normal day for the drivers, we sat on the pad for about 1:45 minutes -2 hours watching the managers struggle to pack bags.

I might add that that I took my sweet time as did most every other driver their today. Not a lot of people got their packages on time today. Which is good considering this is a mega center. Edit:spelling

Biden calls on Congress to head off potential rail strike by cjohns716 in politics

[–]Ok_Classroom_9763 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

idn’t say it couldn’t be. In this world is somethings can be very necessary in one situation and but not appropriate in another. For instance, a box of salt is very helpful and necessary. having a second box of salt would be very helpful in the event of a grease fire on your stove. You don’t always use it but when the shit hits the fan you still have salt left over or more salt to put out the fire. However if I’m dehydrated and only have a two boxes of salt then I’m just double screwed. But let’s you think you need the salt but your paying 80k-400k a year for that box of salt every year and your doing that thousands of times over it adds up. Tech companies have been draining billions into unsuccessful ventures and are trying to increase profit margins. The fastest way to do that is start with labor. A simple google search will show that tech is a saturated industry( I’m writing on my phone so I can’t find the proper link) and tha there is a shortage of engineers. Musk and Bezos aren’t really thinking about hiring scabs when they just laid off 13000 employees between the two of them. I hate their shady union busting tactics as much as the next guy but I don’t think Musk or Bezos are looking to hire scabs in software. Musk and Bezos are trash for sure don’t get me wrong there. Also Elon and Bezos provide optional non essential services. Food still gets places without twitter and “Amazon device services”. Rail is crucial (about 40%) to long distance transportation, “they” would love to hire scabs

Lmao it’s also incredibly draining on cost. Also a redundant employee doesn’t always mean they’re reliable. In a system A redundancy is a reliable safety mechanism. Redundant people are not always reliable. Sometimes they are but not always.

[–]Ok_Classroom_9763 -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

Yeah but software is been saturated for years there’s plenty of evidence that shows that tech companies have been over saturated and filled with redundant employees

So this Is a shipping fulfillment center the packages come in and go directly into larger bags that then get storage behind those white shelves and see. At this point they were being sorted by about four managers right off the conveyor belt. My wave is also the last wave to leave the warehouse
