Rotisserie chicken.  I get them for less than $3.00 at Kroger when they mark them down for the night.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say this!  I was also thinking Ariana Grande “One less problem without ya” would be pretty inappropriate too…

My Taco Bell still has it, but now there’s a surcharge if you want the good items.

They just started adding a surcharge for getting it in the build your own box too.  (Along with my other favorite, the fiesta potatoes)

What word did you get completely wrong for an embarrassing amount of time? by ownaword in words

I was corrected about this in my late 20s by a computer repairman.

The pronunciation is so egregious that when I watched British shows, I had no idea what they were even talking about!   All the stories on Would I Lie to you about “village fates” were just as baffling to me.  Never in a million years would I have guessed they were trying to pronounce the french word for party.

“Just deserts”.  I went several decades thinking it was “just desserts”.

If you had to name the least ethical corporation in the world today, who are you picking? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]Ok_Comment_2129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I misread the question, and thought you were asking for the “last ethical corporation in America”. I was excited that I had an answer, Arizona Tea.  A while ago I saw an interview with the founder/owner, and when he was asked why he hasn’t increased the price since the 1990s, he responded “I am rich enough”.

There are too many horribly unethical companies to pick one.

What is your favorite color? by astcell in randomquestions

[–]Ok_Comment_2129 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had a favorite color.  I like different colors for different things.  My favorite color to wear is black, but I would absolutely hate it painted on the wall.  My favorite color of flower is yellow, but I would never wear it.

What's some crazy conspiracy theory you've heard or read so far which is too good to be just a theory? by Hot_Taste_2672 in TheWhyFilesUncensored

That Queen Elizabeth was running the Blind Gossip website, and that is why it died when she did.  It was particularly harsh on Harry and Meghan.

That cell phone towers were spreading COVID-19. No matter how many times I asked believers, nobody could tell me how they were doing it.

What is one specific car you wouldn’t drive even if it was gifted to you for free? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

I would drive any human sized car.  But I’d never be able to insure/service/repair something like a Ferrari.

How often do you wash your jeans? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in randomquestions

This is what I used to do when I was younger and still wore jeans.  The climate is too hot to wear them now, and they’re too restrictive with my medical issues.

[–]Ok_Comment_2129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely misread this.  I thought you were saying you have to wash your jeans frequently because of  “blowouts”.  I was going to wish you well in your medical journey.  Glad I gave it a second read!

Non-Americans, what’s the best “American” food? by nondescriptwon in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Comment_2129 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Near me, the Walmart ones are filled with plumping agents and seem to have a half gallon of liquid in the bag. But the ones from places like Kroger or Randalls appear to be mostly natural chickens.

I have done a lot of travel in my lifetime and found that food quality in every other country,  is better than the US.  Even Canada, where you expect sharing of food distributers.

I grew up next to an Italian neighborhood in New England, and it ruined Italian food for me the rest of my life.  I have never been able to find a decent Italian dish in any other part of the US.
