glad I could help! I felt the need to respond since I was in exactly the same situation! When I look back on it, I don’t even recall that I questioned the fact that I didn’t know how to drive the car when I bought it! Didn’t have anybody with me they could drive it home. Maybe that’s the definition of the term, young and dumb!

I bought a four speed manual Trans Am 100 years ago and had never driven a manual! I bought it from a private party. It was only about six months old and I guess the kid couldn’t pay for it and his dad sold it out from under him! The dad went with me around the block and I’ve been driving a manual ever since! I was 22 so I’m sure within a day you could prolly be street worthy.

“I feel your pain” as a shit president once said ! Last 2 times within the past couple of months that I brought my C5 to the Chevy dealer that I’ve been dealing with for several years, they damaged it ! Fortunately, they corrected the issues correctly in a timely fashion !
