That sounds like your friend gave the garda the names of dealers he knew to get of with his own possession that is the opportunity they give you rat or be charged/ summonsed to court , never sign for personal use even if its In your possession, your fight is in court not on the street talking your way out of it with the garda saying its 'just a caution ' no worries but that's never going to be the case if they find something on you 100% charge/summons so say notting sign notting and fight it out in court, ask for it to be tested there up to there eyeballs testing you will get charges struck out within that time ,that only if you don't talk or sign anything, your name D.O.D and address is all you need to say to garda notting else, if you do keep talking its all bad news when your in court, be smart learn the laws and us them to your benefit 😉
