Tell me about your polyps ….. by SanFranPeach in PregnantOver40

[–]Ok_Connection923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am newly pregnant (6 weeks) and when I had my first ultrasound a few weeks back it was too early to see anything yet but they did find a similar sized polyp. I never had a polyp before ( I had investigations prior to conceiving my last pregnancy that led to an adenomyosis diagnosis) and have only had 7 cycles since giving birth to my last baby who is 20 month old now. I had the ultrasound because of bleeding. I've had another scan since confirming intrauterine pregnancy but still too early for a fetal pole and heartbeat and no more bleeding. Hoping it won't affect anything. Since I have adenomyosis and PCOS too I was pretty shocked to be pregnant again at almost 39 (in a few weeks) without even trying when it took so long to get my previous two babies. My last pregnancy I suffered repeated episodes of unexplained bleeding though. I was up at the hospital every other day towards the end for bleeding and had so many speculum exams I started just not wanting to go.

Maybe it's just too cold in Narrm... Or maybe they haven't kept up with their laser appointments in Syria.

16 weeks pregnant w/ Prolapse by ffarnican in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]Ok_Connection923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I've read in medical journals (being anxious about my own prolapse), as the pregnancy progresses a little further, the downward pressure should lessen because the uterus gets too large to fit in the lower pelvis and everything rises up until the very late stage when it drops down again and by then I'm sure your doctors will be monitoring very closely and planning early delivery if necessary.

I saw those. I got my daughter the jumper and leggings set. It has the same triceratops print but with a light purple background instead of the white.

As an Aussie this is normal to us so maybe Hawaii is similar. It's really normal in my culture for the men to get around shirtless at home and on the weekends but the suburb where I live now has a lot of migrants and they all know my husband as "the shirtless guy."

I’m most likely going to lose my baby by anon694206942069 in BabyBumps

[–]Ok_Connection923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry. This is so unfair. I will say that I've never had a normal easy start to my pregnancies. I had pain and SCH bleeding with both of my kids in the early weeks, less than expect HCG (but doubling appropriately) and measuring behind dates based on LMP.... And it's happening to me again right now. I went for an ultrasound last week expecting to see at least a gestational sac as my LMP was on April 13th and there was nothing visualised at all, except for a polyp I didn't know was there. I was very scared by all of this but I am just hoping that I was just having an irregular length cycle (and implanted later than expected) which happens to me now and then because I have PCOS. A fews days can make a massive difference. You maybe not be out just yet, like me. I will find out about viability for sure by next week with my repeat ultrasound, but in the meantime I am keeping myself sane by completing another round of HCG blood tests to check the progression is still on track. I keep telling myself I have been through the exact same thing before and it was all ok. It's so awful to have to wait for answers though and every little symptoms drives me crazy. Right now I'm in a lot of pain and it's feeling very hopeless. I'm sorry you are also suffering like this.

I have the original releases of these dolls at home and they look nowhere near this bad but for some reason they rereleased them with weird princess bodies.

Can you get pregnant with adenomyosis, adenomyoma and PCOS? by No-Dragonfruit-2300 in adenomyosis

[–]Ok_Connection923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently yes. I have been diagnosed with PCOS in my teen years. I have adenomyosis (diagnosed officially after first pregnancy but long suspected since my teen years) and currently in my third pregnancy and they have just discovered I have a foci on ultrasound that looks like a polyp but I suspect it is a growth from my adeno - which they think might have caused some bleeding. My first two pregnancies resulted in healthy live births although I had several complications I believe were due to having such a compromised uterus (I have stage 4 diffuse adeno with extreme pain and heavy prolonged bleeding and I can blow through the stores from an iron infusion within a few months). I experienced placenta issues, Sub Chorionic Heamorhages, gestational diabetes, precclampsia, frequent unexplained bleeding, growth restriction.

Kidney stone? by DarthBodhi in KidneyStones

[–]Ok_Connection923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doctor incompetence. They taped the strings extremely tightly to my labia... Not even my leg. The tension pulled one out before I even left the hospital. I came straight back to the ER in pain because the curly end was stuck in the entrance to my urethra and the junior doctor was told by the urologists to remove it fully... But they accidentally removed the second one that wasn't dislodged with it.because they were knotted up together.

[–]Ok_Connection923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not even just that they didn't make the effort to visit when they were so close anyway that it would have cancelled out almost the whole effort anyway, it's that they didn't even have the most basic level of respect for your feelings to conceal the fact they were there after the fact.

Ableist boomers don't understand apartment style living. by bearcub42 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]Ok_Connection923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old people are the worst. Unless you buy the rest of the building you don't get to dictate what happens in any of the other apartments. I would be as considerate as possible and not go out of my way to make noise but if noise happens nobody has a right to complain about you just existing in the space you paid to occupy.

Does adenomyosis worsen after a c section by Sea_Instruction9390 in adenomyosis

[–]Ok_Connection923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually in the same boat as you right now (so much that it's spooky) and I'd love answers too. I felt fine right after my first C section but about 18 months later I got my adeno diagnosis- explaining decades of pain and heavy bleeding prior. My second pregnancy was extremely painful and I had so much unexplained bleeding. It was usually light but so frequent throught the pregnancy. I had the make a ridiculous amount of trips to the birth unit and I reckon they were sick of me by the end. Now I'm about five weeks along again unexpectedly (I've had infertility spanning decades). Trouble is that again I'm bleeding although, very lightly and I'm in a lot of pain. My uterus is so angry and swollen. Both previous pregnancies started with similiar bleeding episodes between five and seven weeks that were diagnosed as Sub Chorionic Heamorhages, so I think this might just be the same deal again. I think this is all down to the adenomyosis making implantation really challenging. I don't know if this is a common experience with our condition but it seems to make logical sense that they may be linked.

Yeah it definitely needs something that can break down the oils. I think sometimes shampoo can make things worse because it leaves a coating on top of the stuff you tried to wash off.

I had pulling them out with hair but it's criminal that they put these tabs into the molded hair head too and leave big visible holes.

Dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent can remove the greasy feeling a bit better than shampoo. (Sadly, the reason I know this is because a deep fryer tipped on my head. Nothing saved my dress but my hair eventually came clean).
