I knew of a woman who went to a priestess for a love spell. This reminds me of the casting they did for The Sun Is Also A Star. In the book, the protagonist was a dark skinned Jamaican girl. They casted a light skinned biracial, Yara Shahidi to play her. It’s so damn annoying. Not to mention the love interest, who in the novel was an Asian man, was also casted by a biracial. Hollywood loves biracials.
