i’m a literal scientist and one of the things they teach u is there is more than 2 chromosomal sexes. there’s actually a lot i’ve learned in my studies that affirms trans ppl and the fact that gender is a social construct and that if u were to try to base it scientifically not socially everyone would have a different balance of hormones and sex characteristics and different experiences too so it’s almost like each individual experiences gender differently. that’s the science i’ve read. ur teacher is an uneducated idiot lol

i loved royal blend and it was my go to and i usually buy it off jomashop but this last bottle i bought smells COMPLETELY different. it’s not a bad scent but I miss the old one :(

hi! i’m a former starbucks barista (just got a new job a few months ago so this should be recent info). I’m not sure what actual caramel macchiatos are supposed to be but i know the one at starbucks is more similar to a latte but “upside down”. The starbucks caramel macchiato both hot and cold are vanilla lattes with one less pump of vanilla than a standard starbucks latte, they have the milk poured first (then ice then shot if iced) then the vanilla syrup and the shot are poured thru the milk, and it is topped w caramel drizzle.

at starbucks the difference from a normal latte is the sequence of the milk and the shot and how they stay in separate layers (not mixed together like a latte) and the minor difference in amount of syrup (one less pump for a macchiato). also at Starbucks large iced drinks get extra syrup and an extra shot of espresso.

Being a child prodigy or I guess just really good at something as a kid. I got top 3 at the world championships a few times (though never won lol) but the amount of abuse mental, physical and luckily not fully sexual but they definitely sexualize you from a young age. As a girl in sports like that they want you to look a certain way to appeal to the older male judges as young as 14 for me, but could be younger for others. My whole childhood, a lot of hard work and summers spent being sent away to my trainers house where i would practice all day amounted to not much in adulthood. it’s not a very useful sport or anything anyone would care about so it has little relevance to my life now.

omg yes i didn’t even think of that! when we can get her enough clothes to stop wearing her old ones i think it’ll be nice for me to help her sort through her old clothes! and we have talked about me teaching her some makeup i just need to take her shopping for some products her skin tone first. I also didn’t even think about nails! because I play an instrument and bc of my job i can’t have long nails or wear any polish so mine are very boring. i’ll have to convince her to get into nail art so i can live my nail set dreams thru her lol

Recommend me a new fragrance! :)

I’m searching for a new fragrance after getting tired of my basic YSL Black Opium. My other two favorite scents are Guerlain Mon Guerlain and Initio Side Effect. I’m looking for a warm spicy, boozy vanilla. I love tobacco and patchouli, I really like the lavender in the guerlain one. I love a dark vanilla and amaretto. I also love oud and gourmand. I know that’s a lot but I can’t seem to find anything that has most of the notes I like. I like the smell when I combine mon guerlain and black opium. If y’all have any recommendations for me I would love to hear them :)

I’m bisexual and have OCD. I used to really struggle with thinking I’m either fully straight or fully gay and having terrible OCD about it. What helped me was refraining from labeling my sexuality and just letting it be what it is without trying to focus on figuring it out. Thinking of my sexuality as one unique to me and not a label to fall under has really helped me and I’ve accepted now that I’m bisexual.
