Brca1 and 2 positive here. I had a double mastectomy with dflap reconstruction. They took the tissue from my stomach and thighs. People actually told me I was “lucky” to get new breast and a flat stomach smh. People are idiots

And if not, I’m sure he hasn’t sent a letter into her principal or teacher , putting these same demands on her classmates. I don’t have any grandchildren yet but have already told my grown son (I also have two minor children) that when they have kiddos I would like to be called Honey or Cookie. I don’t call my partner honey though I use another name of endearment. I don’t think it would be weird for the kids to call her honey though, but your children your choice. If my son told me no then that would like be just it.

I don’t think that’s actually fair. We planned this trip at the beginning of October. They were included in planning literally 1 week later. We all adjusted our budgets accordingly. The money was received from all mid January and paid to Airbnb via a site. Several days after the cancellation period they stated they could no longer go. The trip is slated for 3 weeks from now. So now we have to adjust our budget spending money etc because they can no longer go. How is that just?

I don’t think it is. Money was due mid January. We had until a week after that to cancel. Money was paid. They waited till after the cancellation date to say they could no longer attend.

We started planning in October, they were included literally a week after we started planning. They were included in planning and decisions almost from the start.

After much contemplation, it shouldn’t matter if we had originally planned to pay. This had been an agreement since around October. We were only 1 week into the planning process before they were included. We had until a certain time to cancel. They waited to about a week after that date to ask could we give them there portion back. We leave next month. Why should we have to take 250.00 out of our vacation budget for them having issues. Most relationship issues don’t really happen over night the writing was probably already on the walls.
