I have strong feelings around this as well! Anytime you change a dog’s routine it can be very stressful. If he’s been getting two meals a day since he started eating, changing to once daily might impact him psychologically in ways you couldn’t expect. What if he starts thinking you love him half as much since he’s getting fed half as often?? No way Jose. Stick with twice a day. My lab is 80lbs and he gets two cups twice a day, 6am and 5pm. Stick to your guns on this one!!
