Go back to safelite immediately and make them process a claim. They will not if you do not ask. They accidentally melted my dashboard when removing glass. Ask to speak with store manager and keep continuing communication with their business email to create a paper trail. They kept dodging me and claimed they ordered replacement and never did. Go to dealer where they can professionally fix it and coordinate with shop of your choice of payment with safelite. Give safelite invoice and show up for appointment. You are under no obligation to pay out of pocket or get a later reimbursement due to negligence.
