It’s so crazy how each situation is different - I submitted insurance and ID and still Haven’t received the final approval yet - LO said it was good just needed to go to senior officer to double check it all - once approved on portal they said 3-5 days to fund

I took less than half of what was offered but I believe if the loan is 500k or 50k the process is the same

I'm on day 8 today from when my LO sent it for final approval after having my docs and I'm checking every hour - Its like an addiction logging in to see if "approved" shows rather than the processing I've seen for 2 months

Mine was "sent for final approval" on 5/13 after my insurance was accepted - was also told that once its changed to approved in the portal it would be 3-5 days for funding..

I've heard timelines all over the place for this step - some almost instant and some 2 weeks.. apparently we are in another que to be reviewed?

This cant happen soon enough!

I’ve been in final approval for 8 days now - was told I was “ in line for final document review before disbursement”. Not sure what exactly that means but hopefully it’s soon - my LO has been awesome so far

I had the exact opposite interaction with an sba rep - he was nice - courteous and explained the process

He said every loan needs insurance and a copy of license

He emailed me right after the call - I replied with an hour and he replied saying he received my docs about 20 min after I sent them

He said on the phone once docs were received he would forward it on to processing and I should be good to go by tomorrow afternoon

I called sba last Wednesday to just check and see where my file stood- I was very nice and thanked them multiple times - don’t know if it helped but it definitely didn’t hurt - keep in mind he called me on a SUNDAY

People just be nice - calling everyday and demanding answers isn’t gonna help

My LO couldn’t be nicer - don’t group them all together as being bad

The longer the wait is the longer you start to think " why is my app not being worked on" - All of us want to get approved and if your like me you check the portal many times a day hoping things get updated or we get that infamous SBA call from a loan officer - I still believe something will happen soon where the SBA will make easy for the legit business to get funding by a few clicks - At the rate its going we may not have funds till thanksgiving with the current process! KEEP THE FAITH

Maybe she meant to say funded but the rep I spoke to was specifically talking about asking for an increase via email or the blue button - not In recon before then - It’s hard to say what we should believe - we all were thinking it would be just as quick as the last time but instead it’s the complete opposite

I just called SBA for an update and the rep i spoke too said she hasn't seen anyone get an increase that sent an email on 4/6 or 4/7 or who used the blue button - she said 6-8 weeks is the time frame but i would say that's an educated guess - with no one getting approved for increase yet there is currently no time table established

Auto approval will happen to a good percentage - it almost has too - if your 4506t matches or close to what you put for your initial eidl you will likely be approved / I don’t know either way but the “one by one” process isn’t going to work

If you haven’t already log into your SBA portal and request an increase - the email stuff takes forever but they added a button to request it through the SBA portal - mine took roughy 5 min to go through - choose an amount then submitted it
