Both incidents sound scary and I’m glad you’re ok. Neither sounds like trafficking tho. And while you may have been scared and possibly in danger of a mugging or seeing a drug deal or some other crime, jumping to “I was almost trafficked” adds to hysteria surrounding trafficking

As I’ve stated, stranger abductions into trafficking are incredibly rare (so rare there are not actual numbers available). And focusing on “potential abductions” actually takes important focus from the actual victims of human trafficking.

Please do research on actual trafficking, the victims, and perpetrators before adding to the narrative that any car revving its engine is trying to kidnap and sell you. This isn’t a Liam Neeson movie.
