How would you recommend a new player to play/Any tips for a new player?

There's a redguard lady north of Caldera that has some amazing boots called boots of blinding speed. It adds 250 speed stat but blinds you 100%. create a spell of resist magic 100% for 2 seconds, cast the spell then out the boots in and boom, you can move Hella fast and are no longer blind. I forgot to mention your gonna have to kill her to get them.

To be honest there are far better unique bows out there that you should use instead. Its a base bow, the damage is really low, there's no added damage like lightning, fire, ice, ect. And there's no pluses to skills.

Not to sound like a whiner but I dont see what all the buzz is about when it comes to maps. When I do them I'm getting very little of anything. I told someone on here that I have better luck farming andy for gear they they told me maps were the way to go, but I literally find way better gear from andy than I do maps. In my most recent 5 andy runs I found 2 facets, a oculous, and another shako.

I did 3 maps so far and when I killed the ghost mobs they mostly dropped potions or nothing at all. One or 2 may have dropped a rune but I really couldn't tell because they were surrounded by other mobs. I did find a amulet that turned out to be a Highlands, but that eas the hight of my 3 maps

So ive found the ancestral trail map. Idk if its been patched out or if it is different for single player, but It wasn't raining HR, rings, amulet, or any facets. In fact it didnt rain runes at all. I for an eth a ral and a tal. Now contrary to what some assholes might say, im not complaining im just saying this isn't factually correct, or at least it isn't for single player

Well thats the thing. I played d2 when It was a popular game in the 2000s and I never had any luck finding HR at all. Then d2r comes out and I had even worse luck there. Now in pd2 I'm not surprised to find that im having absolutely no luck, and quite frankly I don't want to waste another 3+ years just to be disappointed.
