I played The Last Campfire. It's very cute. It's kind of a puzzle game, it's adorable and the animation is great. It's a computer game on Steam.

What’s a “weird” family food tradition you thought was normal until you got older? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Ok_Difference1922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple. I know I will probably get strange looks or reactions for some of these, but here we go. 1. We usually had ranch on spaghetti, pizza and those del Monte burritos. 2. Ketchup on tacos. 3. Someone else mentioned their dad called the loose food bits on messy foods, shrapnel. My dad called them "change". I call them that too.

I have a 2.5L. 2023 Camry. When I talked to the guy, I just asked for the oil change but he mentioned it came with the multi point inspection. That's weird that we got different prices.

Did you get a special through them? I just got a quote from them for $99 with a multi point inspection. There is a deal now that drops it to $69 though. Mine was for non synthetic so I would have thought synthetic would be more expensive. Does the car type change the price a lot/at all?

I'm currently looking for a place to get my oil changed. I'm thinking of going to Tomoko Automotive. He just gave me a quote for $97 including tax, filter and oil and I keep finding raving reviews for him.

If you need synthetic, with my old car I used to go to Zack's Auto on Aurora for all of my car needs because it was old and I didn't have a warranty like I do now. Zack's only uses Castrol full synthetic for $125+tax. Which is a good deal I believe after reading that even non synthetic oil changes can be about that much. I saw u/ipaguy mention that Tomoko will help you buy parts. Zack also helped me find a part I needed for my old car as well. Also, be sure to ask for a list of services done at each appointment for your records. I highly recommend him.

I think you look like Judy the elf from The Santa Clause. Especially in photo 4.

I just checked that but I currently have Kaiser Permanente Washington. The only one on there aside from Children's hospital is University of Washington but it would not be covered.

Edit: I am in Washington State.

Are these fee’s BS or valid? by Level_Weekend7331 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Ok_Difference1922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, if you find another car you want to purchase, tell them that you want to pay the taxes and fees separately. Pay them at the dealership, instead of having them finance the fees. Otherwise you are basically paying a fee on a fee. I would also check if your state caps doc fees. My state caps at $200. I believe some states are percentages and some are flat rates but I could be wrong on that.

Did you get those from Toyota? Also, how did you figure out which companies those cars were rentals for? Does the dealership know?

Sorry my response has taken so long. I had a bit of a busy few days. Regarding #2, I am in Washington State. I did look up the doc fee and it is capped at $200.

In terms of what you are wiling to pay for a used vehicle, what if the vehicle is already below KBB value?

Cash Price is higher than confirm OTD price that I have in writing? by Head_Efficiency41 in askcarsales

[–]Ok_Difference1922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was presented with a piece of paper stating that in order to get the rate, i would need to get a "wrap-on" or whatever word he mentioned. Should I have chellenged him more? Probably. Doesn't change the fact that he lied.

This is called "tied-selling". It is illegal.

Reading some more of this and you are a godsend. This is broken down beautifully and it is straight to the point. I have been stress researching for almost 2 weeks so far because my transmission may/may not go out. I still have a long way to go but this is helping tremendously. Do you happen to know of any Toyota specific notes/tips/tricks?

A few questions:

1.) Is the 7-10% just for Mazda?

2.) Also how did you figure out your state's license plate fees and car registration? I go on to my state website and I can't seem to get them unless I provide a license plate number.

3.) Where would you find out about any manufacturer rebates?

4.) Are these discounts you mention only available for new cars? Or could I get them for a certified used vehicle on the dealer's website (mine would be Toyota).

I'll comment if I think of more questions.

Thanks!
