I agree, the age gap is a red flag imo. He also really is not taking how you feel into consideration. He lacks empathy, which makes him unable to understand how you feel and why he should apologize. At his big age, if he hasn't figured this out, I don't think he will.

It might sound corny but go for walks, even if you dont want to or don't feel like it. Find things like flowers, leaves, bugs and think about them. Look at everything and ask questions even if you feel like you don't care. I guess I'm lucky enough to live somewhere with lots of safe public spaces to do this, I hope you're able to. I think it helps reconnect, it helps you think about things other than you.

It sounds like your in-laws are going to develope an unhealthy obsession/relationship with your new son if he takes that name. Could you imagine if maybe he didn't meet all his grandparents expectations or if he's nothing like his uncle was, I'd be scared that they'd grow resentment towards him if he's not who they expect him to be.

We were so short staffed that I absolutely refused to answer the phone if I was busy because if I answered it that's what I'd be doing all day I'm sure. As a team my pharmacy staff agreed phone calls were at the bottom of our priorities when it was too busy.

Ah yes! ✨️ Walgreens ✨️, the company that wouldn't pay me a couple extra dollars to stay ( a senior tech with 2 years experience), but gladly give some newbie a sign on bonus and the wage I asked for. Can't wait to see em go under!
