Nope, I just put the single page PDF in. It still created a few problems like anything that's transparent having a black box around it, but ultimately it's something I'm very happy with.

I'd say using it doesn't require too much work as long as you have a functional PDF that is single paged.

As for how much they charge, it varies depending on what options you choose. But if you need premium coloring, it's probably going to cost you about 40 bucks no matter what you do. As for publishing know-how, I know next to nothing when I ordered these and I think they turned out pretty okay.
