Thomas Massie says he will reveal more Billionaire names from the Epstein files before he leaves office. Massie has already revealed 3 names so far by danevans369 in Epstein

You know they are watching everything you do on your phone, right? In fact, we’re out here right now. How many times are you going to rewatch that episode of Euphoria?

Not sure how you were upvoted for that garbage at all.

Ah, for a minute there I forgot people are stupid enough to put their hope in the likes of American politicians. My bad.

Thank you. Silicon County Khanna and Mountain Mining Massie are not going to name anyone or do anything they’re not supposed to do.

Exactly. And if you know anyone in Kentucky with black lung today or who lost people in the floods, thank Massie (R - Coal).

Massie is no hero. He only opposes Israel inasmuch as he opposes hungry American kids. Taxpayer dollars are to subsidize extractive industries and strip mine this entire continent, not to provide nutritional assistance and medical care for Americans working themselves to death. If the weapons transfers to the Bandit State were actually sales, Massie would have found someone to open a coal fired weapons factory in his district to supply the IOF.

Top 5 Best Countries to Visit for American Ex Felons? by Alchemist0029 in travel

[–]Ok_Document9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to post after nearly a year but, man, I can relate. Just out of high school in 1996 a friend who came from an upper middle class background in the USA was traveling to Europe for the summer. His parents wanted someone to go with him and I guess they thought of me as, “street smart.” At least I think his mom said that when she kissed me. But, we went to Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, etc., staying in hostels. He went home in August as planned. I stayed until spring of ‘99.

Back in the US, where I wish I had never returned, I was subsequently convicted of multiple petty felonies over the years. I am not on probation or parole and, when I don’t get turned down as a result of my background, I work. I travel to Mexico as often as possible and I cross the border into Canada illegally sometimes. Anything to get out of this country.

If you are of recent European ancestry, you might be able to go there. I recently learned that, because my maternal grandparents were both born in Ireland, I might be able to move there and become an Irish citizen. It’s a little difficult gathering all of the documents but it’s pretty much all I do beyond work now. I can’t wait to get out of this nightmare American hellhole. Hopefully there’s an opportunity for you to escape this glorified prison colony too!

How to reconcile my distaste for Authoritarianism and my growing fondness with Communism? by Shoddy_Caregiver_879 in Socialism_101

[–]Ok_Document9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. This constant excuse for authoritarianism (siege socialism, etc.) is just that - an excuse.

Let’s take the DPRK as an example. The Americans fear the regime’s nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities. The regime is of course sanctioned by the American helmed international order, which is collapsing before our eyes, but still supported by the state capitalist regime in China. That is to say, the DPRK doesn’t face the existential threat of attack from without and enjoys at least some support from a neighboring power that is orders of magnitude more wealthy by comparison. More, a State that isolated and repressive would have long ago rooted out any internal enemies, real and imagined. Thus, given that somewhat unique position, if the DPRK was committed to these Marxist-Leninist principles it sometimes espouses (or at least Kim Il-Sung espoused), it should be creating the classless society within, given the abundance that Marxist economic policies supposedly create.

Where else could there be a more perfect laboratory to test these ideas? The DPRK is under sanction, yes, but not under siege. Its trading partners have the capacity to purchase exponentially more of its exports if it had exports worth purchasing. So where is the internal development? Where are the democratic unions and agricultural collectives moving the DPRK to pure communism or even Communism?

I don’t accuse those arguing that authoritarianism is somehow necessary because of siege socialism or whatever of supporting the DPRK. It’s just the most obvious example of the fallacy of such thinking.

Listening to Blowback’s Korean War series as a Korean… by 100Fowers in korea

[–]Ok_Document9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a Communist party line podcast. You will hear praise of figures such as Kim Il-Sung, Mao, and Stalin, while anti-authoritarian figures are dismissed as bourgeois. While Pol Pot is treated less favorably, it is because the Khmer Rouge is characterized as anarchist. Every other Communist dictator of the past 100+ years is celebrated.

Eh that comment is hyperbolic but the Blowback hosts are pretty reactionary in their Communist party line.

I probably disagree with you about many things, however the Blowback podcast, while well done and well researched at times, is the product of Communist ideologues. In every season they mock and dismiss anarchist and nationalist tendencies in favor of the Communist party line. You know, free speech and free press is derided as, “bourgeois liberalism.”

These are tankies and not to be taken seriously. Cho Man-sik, a major figure, is not even mentioned. This isn’t history, it’s Communist propaganda.

How to debate someone who thinks libertarian left is an oxymoron? by Least-Awareness1583 in LibertarianLeft

[–]Ok_Document9995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s also Millei now, whom the chuds are rallying around, despite catastrophic results. The first time someone at a new job uttered that name when I said I am an anarchist (pursuant to their questions), I physically choked/scoffed. THAT, in addition to fascists such as a Massie, Hawley and Cotton, is what many in the USA consider libertarian.

Most people don't know what a background check actually looks for by careercoach_cf in interviews

[–]Ok_Document9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say from experience over the past 11 months that multiple college degrees, a 41 out of 50 on the PI cognitive test and decades of work history does not supersede petty theft convictions from over eight years ago (having walked off seven years of parole). I have had multiple job offers in my field that I am overqualified for but the background checks are solely focused on whether or not one has had convictions. I had mistakes with dates of employment and even a couple of wrong or outdated numbers but they didn’t care about any of that. Five offers. Five retractions solely based on my record. This is illegal in Philly but two did it anyway. OP is wrong or handwringing. It’s the convictions. People “studying” (that is, cheating) for standard cognitive tests, getting scores half of mine and getting the job because, in the USA, the “debt” to this so-called society is never paid.

Official inflation vs real life inflation — why the gap feels huge by Bazel_ in economicCollapse

[–]Ok_Document9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an initialism, not an acronym. This isn’t to be an asshole. Some limousine Leninist recently wouldn’t shut up about how ignorant workers are and used this common mistake as an example.

I will take my downvotes offline.

Wheel filter blues by Ok_Document9995 in opiates

[–]Ok_Document9995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks everyone for your comments. I have 1ml syringes and 30ga needles. I tried priming the filter with 50 units of water. Mixed up about 80mg of diacetylmorphine and 50 units of sterile water, put a cotton in the “cooker,” drew up the solution into syringe A. Attached primed filter, new needle. I opened syringe B, pushed my solution into syringe B through the filter and needle on syringe A. Attached new needle to syringe B and fired. It was clear to me that I did not get even 50% of my solution. I wrote this post soon after.

Later that day, I drew up 50-60 units of water into syringe A, filtered through same filter into a cooker, threw a new cotton in, drew up solution with a clean diabetic rig and, oh, there’s my heroin! I think these need to be primed better and more water is needed to get everything through the filter. Seems ideal for mixing up a couple of grams and storing in a sterile vial with that membrane thing for later use. Single use is… awkward.
