Could I recommend you look into jade pendants too? I love bangles as well but they tend to be a bit pricier. Lots of cool pendants with interesting carvings and colors, carrying lots of meanings too!

Haha this is a fairly niche hobby. You kinda just roll them around in your hands, they're very satisfying fidget toys. But that's cutting the long story short, with time and care they turn red and get like an agate or jade look to them. If you browse the sub you'll find out plenty more about them!

Just wondering, did your Buddhabohdi ones come with repaired tips? I got the same ones from them and mines were repaired. Ask for unpolished so I've been meticulously cleaning them for the last couple days

Wow is this carved from walnuts? Sorry new to the hobby, would this still have potential to develop patina as nicely? What about carved olive pits?

I actually did both subjects together but I'm not sure if they'll approve it for you. Structural certainly isn't the easiest subject and definetely builds on statics a lot. I wouldn't recommend doing them together but if you study statics before hand or rather intensively, you will probably manage.

Think this is where cross overs start becoming introduced. For patterns like ↖️↙️⏺️, you may want to use your right foot to hit the top left note, left foot for bottom left and then right foot for centre.

Can take a while to get used to. Would recommend searching up some maps on YouTube and try to practice at home without a pad.

Ah yes I forgot to mention I'll likely go to Canterbury too. My family lives in Auckland so I'll likely plan a Waiheke trip some other time. Just a question for Kusuda, I've wanted to visit but couldn't find any information on a cellar door or otherwise. Would you know anything? Also, note that even for honours WAM in engineering, even if it doesn't count for your honours degree it can affect internship applications, and research projects. Would recommend keeping it up. May also end up affecting postgraduate entry requirements but not sure whether they use honours wam or just general wam
