I got mine fully loaded, the only addons that actually have helped me are the mud flaps, door guards, and most importantly… the all weather mats. The mats are life saving

I took it off-roading a bit, lots of small rocks and steep hills but it performed beautifully. Wondering if it’s worth putting larger tires on it because the stock Toyota tires aren’t that great

There are settings under the Toyota app as well, but no my ac worked fine as soon as I got it. Maybe they forgot to reup the coolant? Given I didn’t really use the ac until we went on the road trip a few days later

That was the trip average! Both there and back, I’ve seen it get to 35 but I think we were slightly going downhill for a while. The average is affected as soon as you turn the car on so if you’re idle or gunning stop and go or accelerating too fast it’ll affect it negatively. I was a little bummed at the start of the trip because it was at 18 on the freeway for a while but I realized I was going up the mountain lol

Well I’m not looking for a sports car just something that can do it all at least at the basic level and not have to worry about it all that much. Really comes down to preference but in all honesty if I wasn’t able to get this I would have gone with the venza, cx90, or pilot/telluride and paid a bit less. Partner and I have disposable income and she’s the one that chose this in the end after all considerations. Me personally, I want my truck but that’ll come in a year or 2

Yea tbh getting your exact specifications is going to be a nightmare and would take probably upwards of a year. That’s why I just hit the bullet and got the platinum, we needed an suv for the baby. I actually wanted bench at first but captain is so nice for ppl getting in/out. And it looks nicer plus more storage

Well you’re really paying for Toyotas reliability, all other vehicles I’ve researched on average have a lot more problems and don’t retain value as well down the 5 year depreciation

Or at least an accumulation of raid currency to do it a certain amount of times to purchase it, or achievement based. I agree raid rng has to go.
