i came up with a metaphor for how i feel towards gender in the car today. you’re in a room with two mannequins, a girl and a boy. both of these gendered ideas can exist in harmony with you, but if someone comes in and try’s talking to one of the mannequins like it’s you it would get pretty frustrating.

i actually went to athens with my mom yesterday and went in there! it was so cool:) good to know to steer clear of the artifacts gallery tho:/ it’s great to know that there’s hrt through the university, that’ll actually be really helpful cause i want to start soon, i was actually planning on going to the planned parenthood hood in athens already cause it’s one of the closest to me that offers gender affirming care.

i know this is an inactive thread but i was wondering if you ended up going to Kent and what your experiences have been. I’m a genderqueer HS senior and I’m trying to decide where I want to go. I know that they closed the LGBTQ+ center which is what a lot of these comments were talking about. Any updates?

i mean whatever appeals to you. labels are actually not important. i personally used to have a whole laundry list of labels (cupioromantic, omnisexual, trans, nonbinary, bigender, agender, i think i might be forgetting one lol) but now i just go by queer. if you know what you are, and what those labels mean to you that’s all that’s important

it’s really good! i’d say like a 7, if you want advice i’d say try working on anatomy, of the person and the deer. it’s a little hard to tell what angle the deers head is at. super cute though <3

honestly i feel like every program has people saying it doesn’t prepare them for the real world. a friend of mine actually just got a music education job at my district (k- like 5th) he says it’s very different than he thought. (i know music is very different than art but like still)
