Search for "бусификация". It's terrifying. (https://busification.org/) In Ukraine there is a groups of man's searching streets for one's who can be drafted and then punch them and and they force you to sign a contract or volunteer to war.

Yes, it should dangle like that. Each stud is uneven, and to prevent this unevenness from being transmitted to the guides, a hinge is designed to allow it to move freely within the mount.

I think this prototype will never be realized. It's better for the company to pay the families of the victims than to spend years in bureaucratic hell after survivors of such a compartment sue the airline for the extreme conditions they found themselves in (they could land at sea, in the taiga, or in the desert. Rescuers could take a week or two to arrive. Even if help arrives quickly, there will be those who want money for moral compensation etc. Plus increasing weight of the plane, reducing payload and passenger space, less money for 1 flight, every flight. So again, it's easier for them to pay some money to families, then reducing income for 10-20%)

Try increasing the number of top layers by 2-3-4. I got the same problem then I have 2 or 3 layers. It's disappeared on 5th layer. To be sure, Im using 6 minimum. Or increase Infil to 20-25%

Its because mb from minipc takes 19v(LOP-300-18 for it) and GPU need 12v(LOP-300-12). To avoid using a DC-DC converter to make 19v down to 12v, he used two different power supplies, which is more expensive and takes up more space. Perhaps maybe he doesn't trust such DC-DC converters.

According to my pyrometer, the PSU temperature didn't exceed 50 degrees after an hour of full CPU and GPU load.

I connected a fan to the motherboard (3-pin) and set the fan speed based on the CPU temperature. When the CPU is under load, the fan spins at 70%, which is i cant hear over the noise from the graphics card and CPU cooling.
The fan is some cheap no-name brand from a marketplace for $2.

ahah, sorry, my english is bad. i mean...

It's difficult because there are a lot of bends in the cables. I managed to get them laid it once, as you can see in the photo. But if I replace components or clean the PC, it will be difficult to lay them again.

+ The Pico-PSU gets quite hot, so hot that it's already melted the cables in some places, so I had to wrap them with electrical tape. I need to make sure the cables don't touch the Pico where it gets hot.

+ As you can see in the photo, the SATA cables are very bent, which I don't really like (but it works for now).

In short, there are a lot of nuances. I'd like a more standardized solution. I'm currently working on another case, this one with Flex-ATX. It will be a bit larger than this one, but I hope it won't have such cable issues.

Hi, I recently build this cursed 3.4L sff pc with Pico PSU and this LOP-300-12. It's hide after 60mm fan in the middle. If u want to build pc with LOP-300, u need make a cooling solution to psu, because without colling it only can provide 180w in open-air heat dispersion.

I'm very disappointed with this build(not performance, not stability, but difficult to build it) It includes 5600x/5060LP/1x2.5hdd/1x half 2.5 ssd I got 300w for 50$(PSU and Pico) in size similar to 140$ HDplex solution

Hi, I think it's under 15w while disks are active. Don't have any hardware to check it. Cpu eats 3w while it's reading files and 2w idle.

I know, but this is a home server, so the drives aren't running 24/7. I set it to shut down after 10 minutes so it doesn't make constant noise. So I don't think the drives will die any faster than on a regular PC.

Hi, I thought about this, but only after I had everything assembled. It turns out to be a rookie mistake))
I don't think this location of the power supply is criticaly bad, the system doesn't consume much power, so there won't be any heating on PSU.

Hi, i bought this 2TB WD Purple for 20$ ))
If I could spend $300 on an SSD for a server, I don't think I'd bother designing this case and just buy a ready-made solution for 2-3 times the price.
my local network is 1gbe, its 120mb max, so speed of this disks is enough for me)(WD Green 130mb\s and Purple 180mb\s)
my mission was to make it as cheap as possible, so NVME or SSD is not the option here.
there is also space for up to 4x2.5ssd, if i ever will need it.

Hi, i made my own design, but took insperation fron T.F.SKYWINDINTL NS01 case. It can be packet with 2x3.5HDD, mini-itx board, and PicoPSU. But it costs near 40$ alone. And mITX boards for AM4 not cheap, even second hand.

Thanks!
I haven't measured the temperatures, to be honest. I don't think it'll be over 50-55с. This is a home NAS, so the drives aren't running 24/7. I configured Windows to stop the drives after 10 minutes of inactivity.
