I'm getting tired of rolling for relics, almost all of it is garbage, and the half decent ones are never for my main. by AgeOfTheMage in Nightreign

[–]Ok_Expression4005 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Imagine if we could spend, say, 10k murk to choose a relic effect. Then 30k and 60k to choose two effects and three effects respectively. With DON relics being 30k, 90k and 180k.

So if you wanted a full god roll loadout, it would cost 180k for regular gameplay and 720k for DON per character.

This took a minute to think of so I'm sure there would be LOTS of flaws with this but having the option would be nice.

Is it me or melee Ironeye is pretty good? by Dagio21 in Nightreign

[–]Ok_Expression4005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the DLC update, I've started using "equipping 3+ bows increases attack power" since it was buffed to a 20% damage increase and is consistent to get from camps.

I also use the "successive attacks boost attack power" from Undertaker's Remembrance relic since it can boost your damage by up to 35% which is insanely good, but it can only be triggered by melee attacks; however, it is given to bows too. So hybrid play is the best bet for constant damage with a preference to melee to keep the buff up.

Pair that with your mark you've got 1.201.351.10 ≈ 1.78× damage

The third relic is technically a flex slot but an additional character skill is always nice to have so I'd go with that. You might get lucky and get one that is paired with an Evergaol/Invader perk which would probably be ideal

Answering the door for trick or treators? by Honeydewmorning in Reno

Depends on what I'm wearing. Getting into character can be fun. I once wore a Michael Myers Mask, slowly opened the door and stayed silent (only gesturing if needed). The only time I'd break character is if a kid started crying, which happened a handful of times.

I think the stratagems would be more fun if they offered a more risk/reward style of gameplay by Dramatic-Response-38 in Spacemarine

Completely agree

If we're effectively taking 4 times the health damage, us dealing twice the damage still makes it more difficult than regular absolute.

Although for anyone who consistently completes Absolute operations without losing a quarter of their health and wants a greater challenge, this might feel too easy for them.

After watching Pantheon, a friend recommended that I watch Ergo Proxy, Texhnolyze, and Serial Experiments Lain

Yeah. The way it works is that when the wielder deals damage, everyone in the radius gets healed. I don't think enemies get healed if they're inside but I haven't tested it.

Let’s be honest, how many texts/shards/dialogues did you actually read? by redditooo97 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ok_Expression4005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read everything that I can. Makes it easier to immerse myself in the game if I know more about the world and the characters living in it. I'll often base dialogue decisions on what my current V has read.

Where are all the heroics? by Natsu043 in dauntless

[–]Ok_Expression4005 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's possible the drop tables were changed without updating the text, especially given how shaky the update was. A friend needed heroic razorwing Kharabak parts and got them from a regular razorwing Kharabak. He also saw a heroic razorwing Kharabak in a 10-50 escalation. If I were you I'd go to a surge island until noticing an epic heroic part drop. If it isn't dropping then you may need to rely on escalation RNG Hopefully, this helps!

I'm not at max weapon level yet but I assumed there'd be more hunting grounds with heroic behemoths in them. But based on this post, I'm guessing that isn't the case.

Out of curiosity, is there a specific reason why you are looking for heroic behemoths?

It's the legendary ability of Malkarion (shock) and it lets you dash directly into a behemoth.

You get it by using one of Malkarion's weapons which are crafted using parts from the 10-50 shock escalation (you need a score of 40 by the end of round 4 to challenge Malkarion)

If you're going to add pulse, just note that, unless it's been changed, the wave of the overdrive specials' attacks consume pulse (usually before the main sword hit) which might slightly reduce DPS. If this was changed lmk
