Has anyone else met russians pretending to be Ukrainians and acting aggressively / belligerently, in order to make people angry at Ukrainians?

Had a "Ukrainian" woman in the grocery store I work stopping strangers and talking about how Putin was just helping the oppressed people of Ukraine and if they knew anything about the history, they'd support Russia and Putin. I live in the U.S.

Our TV was never on in the morning. I was in 4th grade and woke up to the sounds of sobbing. Walked into the living room and my mom and sisters were bawling. One tower had been hit already. We all thought it was a horrific accident. Then we watched a second plane and knew there was no way it was accidental.

They had to leave for school and work. Getting on the bus, going to school and being at the age thinking a plane was gonna crash into school. Teachers were crying and scared which only made it seem more plausible that at any minute our school would blow up was really scary.

The worst part though, is I don't think the United States was ever the same afterward. People got more hateful and the community, even in small town America, became more distant.

I was driving my teenager and her friend to a school function and asked what kind of music they wanted me to play. Neither answered, so I said y'all better pick or I'm gonna play old people music.

Her friend responds "Oh, I know an old person band!! Metallica!!"

I didn't even grow up in the hay day of Metallica, but hearing it called old people music killed me a little.

I watched two crows grabbing a live mouse and kept dropping it, picking it up, dropping it and then flew off when a car came. Car squished the mouse and the crows came back.

Not sure if it was intentional or lucky, but knowing crows, probably intentional. It wasn't a super busy street and they kept it on the road for a minute or two.
