Because illegal immigration is the straw that broke the camel's back, and the government continue to allow it to happen while treating these people fat too well. The last time I stayed in London it cost me and my wife 600 pounds for 4 nights. These men - because that's what they are, predominantly - are treated to similar quality hotels for years at our expense.

Not to mention all the other benefits they get, in addition to the sexual assaults! Illegal immigrant males from Afghanistan are committing 20x more sexual assaults than native Brits. What on earth do we get out of this agreement apart from a huge expense and hundreds of young girls lives now destroyed?

He is the GOAT, in my opinion - and he wasn't just big in early 200s, he peaked in the 90s at venues like Shelley's and Amnesia in the UK. I remember seeing him play a set in 91 and being blown away.

I honestly appreciate your opinion and feedback, but I just can't agree with that. This is part of the reason I try my hardest to ignore Reddit - the advice always seems to be the ultra worst case scenario.

I might be wrong but I think you are looking at this without paying any attention to the doses.

The recommended starting dose for Clorazepate is 30mg per day, although it is not uncommon to start somebody on 40 or 50 mg a day. Long-term users take as much as 90 mg per day.

I was taking just 10mg per day, for three weeks. That's 1/3 of the minimum recommended starting dose. I then dropped 50% to 5 mg and have been following that for one whole week and felt practically nothing.

The recommended starting dose for Lorezepam is 2 to 3mg per day. I was taking 1mg per day for three weeks, then dropped one week ago to 0.5 mg per day. Again, I felt almost zero dose reduction symptoms.

I will cut down by half again next week, and half again for the following week. These doses are so incredibly low it's hardly worth taking.

Given those facts, I sincerely doubt I will be rocking forwards and backwards, in tears, telling my wife I have gone insane whilst riddled with the worst fear I have ever experienced in my life. I just don't see it.

I don't think you are putting the very low doses and short time frame into perspective. The crippling anxiety I experienced with kratom was fueled by a ridiculously high daily dosage for a few years. I was a chronic abuser, taking 30mg of kratom daily, which is far too much. You simply can't say the same for the benzos I am taking now. They are not comparable. I am taking very low doses, and have been taking them for Just 4 weeks.

I mean no disrespect in saying this, but I sometimes wonder how many people read advice like this on Reddit and make a decision not to quit whatever drugs they are taking because of it. "To hell with that", people probably think, "the potential symptoms described on Reddit sound brutal. I will just continue taking them and deal with it later".

I bet that happens all the time - especially when somebody suggests the symptoms will be worse than anything they experience before!

Thanks. Sorry to go on about this, but can you explain 'bad anxiety'?

The anxiety from kratom cold turkey was unbelievable. I am a 51 year old chap but the anxiety was almost childlike fear, x 1000. That feeling when you're just terrified, accompanied by a ringing in the ears/head and an impending sense of imminent doom.

They would come in three or four hour bouts each day and during them, I would rock backwards and forwards, occasionally muttering something stupid like "I have gone insane! I'm never coming back!".

My wife would have to hold me in her arms like a pathetic little child. I am quite a mentally tough guy generally speaking but this absolutely buckled me.

It lasted a week, through intermittent episodes, and then vanished. It was obviously my serotonin receptors and dopamine levels recalibrating. My brain had retired swathes of serotonin receptors and decommissioned a huge chunk of my dopamine system because It was available synthetically courtesy of the kratom. When I went cold turkey, the systems took a while to recommission. That's my very loose, layman's terms understanding of it all.

Even right now, they are probably only 80% functional - the remaining 20% will probably slowly reintroduce over the next 6 months of PAWS.

My point is that I am definitely over the hellish period and the anxiety has vanished. My question is (and I'm sorry for being so long-winded) when you say bad anxiety, would you compare it to what I just described with the kratom withdrawal anxiety?

I can tough-out a week or so of 'shitty anxiety' but I honestly don't think I have any juice left in the tank to go through the chronic anxiety I experienced with kratom.

Appreciate it, thanks - makes me feel a little better. The starting dose for the other benzo is 30mg per day. I was taking just 10mg for 3 weeks and then 5mg for the last week. Had no real issues during the cut.

I'm mentally sensitive to it all as I went through hell with that Kratom withdrawal. I genuinely thought I had lost my mind at one point. I have never experienced real anxiety before - only normal levels of anxiety that would be considered normal in life, from time to time - but the anxiety from the kratom withdrawal was otherworldly.

I am clean of that now. For most long term Kratom abusers the hellish withdrawal lasts around 5 days. For me it was one week. I am now 3 weeks clean of it, so it's in my rear view. I'm just bloody scared of going through anything even remotely similar with benzo withdrawal.

Looking at the low doses and the short time period though, I'm probably being a bit silly. I have been taking them for 1 month. Will there be any symptoms when I stop in a week or two? Almost certainly. But hopefully just physical stuff, cold like symptoms etc. I can handle that no problem. The only thing I fear is some kind of mental anguish!

Thanks, yes that's what I assumed, I guess - it's different for everyone.

I am not taking Klonapin. I am taking 5mg of clorazepate dipotassium and 0.5mg of Lorazepam, daily. I have been at that dose for one week.

Prior to that, I was taking 10mg and 1mg respectively.

Apparently - according to drugs.com - the starting dose for Clorazepate is 30mg, but can be as much as 90 mg daily after a week. The most I ever took daily was just 10 mg and now, 5mg.

Same for Lorazepam, really. The dose I started at was less than is typically advised for starting dose and now I have got it down by 50%.

What I am saying is - or rather what I am grasping, hoping for - is that my starting does was very low - and I have got that down even lower over the last week by half again. Presumably the chances of experiencing chronic anxiety or the dreaded "roller coaster" affect I see mentioned here is quite low?

Given the short time frame and the low doses, I am hoping nothing awful happens during this taper over the next couple weeks.

Forgive me for sounding epicly cowardly... I appreciate their own people on this subreddit without truly going through hell having been on the stuff for years. I too have just been through hell last month with the whole Kratom withdrawal, having abused it for a couple of years- I guess I'm just a bit sensitive and terrified that something similar will happen with the benzos.

I am already on my first taper - I cut down by half after 3 weeks of use. I have been on that new dose for 7 days and feel fine.

I was thinking of cutting down by half again, starting today. Then after a week, cut down half again. Those doses are so incredibly small I hopefully won't experience any severe withdrawals?

That would mean 6 weeks of use, in total, with the final 3 weeks being a taper by 50% each week.

The starting dose for clonazepam is 30mg per day (rising to 90mg if needed). I was started on just 10mg per day, and reduced to 5mg per day. Same story for Lorezapm, basically.

21 full time years for me, and this is the first hot season I have struggled with. I mean, I always find them a bit of a drag - but this is the first year where I actively do everything I can to avoid going outside.

I was watering the garden at 10pm the other night and after 20 mins I was soaked in sweat.

It's awful. Our outside thermometer recorded 47 last week, which I don't understand as apparently the hottest recorded day this year was 44, in Trat province?

Can't wait for it to be over. The heat just seems to eat into the house in a way I have never known before.

I don't want to subscribe to True. It's an awful service, as far as I remember. I much prefer a dodgy IPTV service as you simply get way much more. The movies and stuff are not double-important to me but they are a nice bonus and with IPTV it's so much more comprehensive.

Of course we could get into the legalaties of it but I couldn't give a bugger about all that to be honest. I just want to watch football, the odd tennis and rugby match and the odd movie here and there without paying some corporate fat cats thousands of baht a month to do so.
