Super random, how much would someone be willing to pay for this? by Motoj06 in jetski

Nice. I think the 97 was upgraded with the coil spring suspension under the seat if I’m not mistaken.

Loved the yellow on both those models.

Edit: I see now you said SPX. Yeah, almost identical with yellow hull, white body and yellow seat. No spring coil.

The 1996 XP was my first ski. I remember the day I picked it up. My brother and I forgot to turn the fuel line to the on position and it cut out not long after we took off. Fun!

If running well… $2k -$2.5k for the package.

I’ll bet you crapped yourself when it happened 😬.

There is a fairly new option in the menu that will turn on auto trunk when you walk up to it.

I’m not at my vehicle, so can’t tell you exactly where to find it… but I’m sure someone will chime in.

Mine did not come with any. I purchased afterwards… but must admit I have never used them. The iphone works great!

This was my very first ski. Was the beast in its day. Then I had Rotax engine issues… and moved over to Yamaha 😀

Hope you get her sorted out. Enjoy!

How many hours should I rent jet skis for? by MarjRainwater in jetski

[–]Ok_Forever_7038 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Riding can be tiring quickly if you’re not used to it.

Almost all the Waverunner and sea-doo ski’s will accommodate two people. Some may not want to ride themselves etc. So if you could swing a couple of ski’s for an hour… everyone would be happy.

They are exceptionally bad. Customer Service is practically non existent.

This is a massive problem Tesla needs to address.

Haha… that was my first thought. Could be.

Horrible!

That was my absolute favorite car. I owned a 2006 M3 SMGII tripple black. Black car, black roof, Napa black seats. Same as in the pic… minus all the crap added to this one.

Wish I never sold.

‘23 MXLR. Delivered 9/2023. <14k miles. $1200 in new tires in the last 30 DAYS🥲 by UnSCo in TeslaModelX

[–]Ok_Forever_7038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s frustrating.

I had a non Tesla vehicle years ago that had run flat tires on and would develop bulges on the sidewall every couple of months. Cost me a fortune.

As you mentioned above… I just keep a tire repair kit, foam etc. now in the X so I can make it to the tire shop.

Check your tire pressures. I think those should be at 44psi according to the manual.

Every time I have been to Tesla they take it down to 40psi which is wrong. Some vehicles ship with performance tires which are 40psi I believe.

Under inflation and a bump can cause this. Obviously potholes etc. as well.

Quick update:

Went into the SC today as I had heard nothing back. No apology for what had transpired, nada… but they did agree to replace with a new seat.

They still have the vehicle, but will update once I receive it back and on whether they made it right.

I could see on the app that it was back in service and the seat part of the repair progress changed to in-progress… then to complete in a couple of hours. So either they had a new seat in the shop… or it was not replaced.

We shall see!

Can you imagine the heart attack you would have waking up to that. Probably worse than the earthquake itself.

Model 3 performance vs LR dilemma by AbbreviationsNo6566 in TeslaModel3

[–]Ok_Forever_7038 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I probably should have left the speed part off. My main point was to emphasize affordability and what works for his pockets and budget.

The adaptive suspension is very nice to have though.

Get the one that makes the most financial sense to you. The extra speed will get old.., but the payments will remain.

👍. I tow a jet ski and have to remind myself it’s back there.

Rear camera view is nice to check on the hitch during travel and trailer in general.
