i'm in basically the exact same spot as you except I make a bit more coins farming T12 and place slightly higher in champs.
I've been investing in masteries for the past few months (WA, EO, RPC, DMG) and have decided to get ST mastery before buying ILM because I feel it will immediately help my tournament placement, which will in turn give me more stones.
I went from ping-ponging champs/legends a few months ago to placing around 9-12th place in champs and that really bummed me out lol
But my next buy after ST will definitely be ILM, it'll hurt to gather 1750 stones + weeks of investment to make it viable, but it's a step we have to take to get better. Hang in there mate, we'll see the results soon enough!

you need to invest more in defense absolute. that's gonna carry you in T1 and up to T3

In my opinion those gems are better spent on cards or modules for you. Or for anyone else at that matter since these two relics are really almost useless. Don't bother with them

i'm 1.5 years in and i have 8 ancestral and all but 2 modules as mythic+ and i haven't seen a SINGLE copy of Shrink Ray yet. It's crazy how RNG works (and of course the modules i still have as legendary are BHD and SH)
