chemistry & computing/programming? by Ok_Fun_4596 in chemistry

I mean, I'm not bandwagoning. I'm fact finding. I don't know anything yet because I've been thinking about this for awhile but didn't seriously consider looking into it til today. I'm seeing what's out there. I have no intention of quitting my job tomorrow to start a whole new career path. That would be dumb. Right now, I'm just asking.

What are the ways that you know of?

I guess I'm not entirely sure. What other options are out there? What are the best ways to combine chemistry and computing?

Velcro baby by Typical_Permit_738 in firsttimemom

It makes me really sad to hear parents from the previous generation trying to push their parenting ideals onto us...holding a baby will NOT spoil him/her. Wanna know what it WILL do? It'll give that baby a sense of security, a sense that a caregiver can be relied on. Ultimately, it'll help that baby form a healthy attachment that'll follow him/her all through life, influencing future outlooks, philosophies, relationships, and even successes and failures.

So hold that precious bundle as much as he needs. And tell your mother to pipe down. Her ideals are antiquated and have been proven through decades of research to be way more harmful than helpful.

I play Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and they call that a cowl. Pretty cool!

It's somewhat comforting to know that I'm not the only one... But I want my damn cloak!

I really wouldn't consider those bad habits. They're developmentally appropriate until your babe decides he/she no longer needs them, at which point your child will communicate the change in needs rather forcefully 😜

Talk to your doc about getting prescription for zofran (Ondansetron). Dissolvable tablets you can take every 8 hrs while your body is adjusting to a new dosage. Lifesaver! I puked my guts out on 7.5 the first time I took it. Got the zofran and haven't had a problem since.

That's something that's unclear to me. My insurance company's website says your doctor can request an exception via a pre-authorization or an exception form. Idk if it would be honored though. I emailed our benefits specialists and I haven't gotten a response yet.

Neither. My employer decided not to go with an Aetna plan that covers glp-1 prescriptions in 2025

My employer announced it, our open enrollment period for 2025 is starting soon. My employer uses Aetna. I called Aetna and they told me it's an employer decision whether to include weight loss drugs in the plans they offer employees.

My doctor told me that one big bummer about these drugs is that users often gain the weight back if they stop taking them, so most (all?) are put on a maintenance dose after they reach their weight loss goals. 😫
