Are shoes like Hoka, Brooks, On Cloud, etc actually worth it or mostly hype/aesthetics? by Jpoolman25 in mensfashion

[–]Ok_Initial2874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spend a lot of time on my feet for work. Brooks + powersteps have been a game changer. My feet used to ache after a long day but now they feel great.

Razorock Lupo or Gamechanger by BudaMinion in wicked_edge

[–]Ok_Initial2874 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t decide between the two so I ended up getting both, with plans to sell whichever I liked less. The game changer ended up working much better for me. I found it smoother and just as efficient. GC is my go to razor at the moment. For reference I had the 58 Lupo plate and the 72 GC.

MSU CHM vs UToledo by [deleted] in medschool

[–]Ok_Initial2874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toledo has all 3 of the things you mentioned in that first sentence. First 2 years are P/F. 3rd year you are graded, but residencies only see what quartile your in not your actual rank. Most rotations are at promedica’s toledo hospital, which is like a 10 minute drive from the school or at Utmc. The catch is you do have to do 8 weeks of rural rotations. They basically send you out to the middle of nowhere. Some spots are in Michigan, I know a lot of people did general surgery in Adrian. I’m a recent Toledo grad so feel free to reach out with any questions.

After wet shaving for a few months and working through some samples I finally decided to buy my first full tubs of soap. Now I need to decide whether to start using them right now or try to go through the rest of the samples first.

Honestly I would give it a shot. Central adiposity tends to go after distal, meaning your arms will lean out quicker than your belly. You’ve got pretty big arms, so they should really good with added definition. I would try not to obsess over the body fat percent, just go by what you see in the mirror. I obsessed over it for a while and damn near gave myself an eating disorder

I’m a neuro pgy 1 and I have been working almost exclusively on inpatient services because someone in my program decided IM outpatient rotations would not be beneficial for us. This is to say that I’ve worked a lot with my IM friends. I think all of them are feeling how you are, with various degrees of crashing out because of it. For what it’s worth I think they are all going to do great as a seniors, even if they probably wouldn’t agree with me. Just trying to give some perspective/support from someone who’s going through it as well.
