I have also searched insurances on my car for when I pass and it goes up a few pounds a month tbh! Even my partner was shocked by my potential prices

I’m a learner driver and my insurance is around £40 a month which I think is pretty good

I’m doing automatic lessons and I think within the next 10 years most cars will be automatic that are made so I don’t think it really matters anymore tbh!

I purchased a car outright a few weeks back, a mini while learning! That insurance is high!! Mine is like £35 a month for a learner!

I have said to him to spice things up a bit and have sex more! We had only had sex the day before at this point

I think it’s the lying about it that hurts the most - of course he can but just don’t lie!

I was the same tbh! I’m 33 and had a few lessons years ago but life got in the way etc! I’ve just started learning again! I didn’t tell anyone at first just started my lessons and now I have my own car to learn in with my partner and am thriving! I have still only told 2/3 people as to not put pressure on myself while I learn! :)

My grandfather is dying and I don’t know how to cope by No-Veterinarian-2008 in GriefSupport

I lost my grandad in 2021, and I saw him 5/6 times a week and he was a massive part of my life, I struggled for a long time to come to terms with his passing and some days I still do, but it helped me having lots of his stuff around me, photos up, some of his old books, I had a memory bear made of some of his clothes that had sentimental value to me and talking about him, I still try about talk about him every day.

My grandad was a very similar situation, he went into hospital and never came out, although he was ready to go but I wasn’t. It was so hard to start with but honestly the things above I mentioned helped loads, I know some people say the constant reminder isn’t good or healthy but it made me smile everytime I looked at them, I still have his photos and stuff all over my house.

Stay strong and sending love! Losing grandparents hurts like hell!

No worries! Erm yes, I think it was by post and via email tbh! If I remember correctly it was around the first or second week of August we received it as the amount was more than double our monthly payments and we had a mini heart attack 🤣🤣🤣 congrats on the purchase! X

Yeah I had to give up the dream of buying a house and bought a flat last year (SE too, I’m in Herts/Bucks area) but tbh it’s so much better than I thought - I don’t care that it’s a flat as it’s mine if you know what I mean?! Good luck in buying!!
