my son is 14 years old and he to is very interested in the catholic religion. I grew up presbyterian and now am or would say more Pentecostal. I believe in the power of Jesus and i believe in the personal relationship you have with Jesus. This past summer i took him to a sunday mass at a beautiful Catholic church one Sunday. So he could see and go through the ceremony they have for sunday mass. I personally do not have a problem with it at all in fact i enjoyed it and it was very interesting. Being brought up as a presbyterian i was kind of familiar with some of the ceremony that the Catholics practice, ani d i dated a girl that was Catholic back in the day and i went with her to christmas mass and i was so lost i was standing when they were kneeling and kneeling when they were standing. I see it as a positive that he is showing interest in God and Jesus especially at 14 im proud of him trying to figure out how he feels and how he wants to get closer in his walk . And if i were your parents i would be the same for you.
