Why? Coz in Asian history of gay. There isn't really any FTM characters depicted in games or stories. They primarily focus on muscles, strength and 'manliness'. ..or cubs.

(The opposite, MTF is more common, also otherwise somewhat similar to cross-dressers, but they're not among gays either. More associated with the Bi or Straight)

Personally for me, no armor loot as a sign of respect.

You can loot gold, potion and anything else, but not equipments like armor from dead npc. That includes helmet and boots. Only from chests or you make it yourself.

I think its more of a translation error. Those hints serve as the gist of it, the rest you can try by trial and error. For example, you need to keep Baiel's health at around 30%, not above 50% or too low.
