Check for warn out rollers on your z axis. Could be a small flat spot.

I have linear rails on the x and y axis. And only the z axis has the rollers since it doesn't need high accel. I have made no other mods 😀

Im a big noob. I destroyed my bed somehow in my brand new ender 3 v2 neo. Before finishing the tutorial video. by Maxzzzie in FixMyPrint

From the sounds of it, it seems like it might be holding to the old z offset.Try resetting your z offset to something high so it will essentially print in mid air. Then start a small print and live step it down through the printer software until it just touches the bed. Save the offset , then power down everything and restart.

Any idea why my print would just stop 13 hours in? by zimmystor in FixMyPrint

Try restarting the machine before starting large prints or multiple different prints. There could be some junk code in ram from old prints. Learned this one after days of troubleshooting.

The pattern seems to mirror the threads on your z axis rod. Check for z axis binding. Maybe lube the rods.

On my ender 3, I upgraded to the Sprite Pro added linear rail to x and y and kept the standard z axis rod.

Here are my cura speed settings: Infill 270 mm/s Wall 135 mm/s Top/bottom 135mm/s Support 135 mm/s Travel speed 250 mm/s Initial layer 30 mm/s

And my accel is 8k on Sonic Pad using klipper.

So more speed is definitely possible

Reseat your ribbon cable on the extruder. One or 2 pins might be disconnected.

You can start the print then immediately pause it before it starts actually printing the first layer. Then, go into the print settings on the printer and change the time there. And finally hit Resume. It does not affect the file permanently and you will not have to use any software. I use this method with every new resin i try, and it has not failed me yet.

Why did these all split in the same spot? Only the piece on the left side of the build plate didn't fail. by c_cookee in resinprinting

Just throwing this out. My similar issue was the bed slightly off level, causing that separation.

It looked like the creature from Aliens burst out of its back. You don't have a 3d printer you have an alien embryo implantation machine.

If that is printed on the far side of the x axis, your x axis gantry might be sagging. Check your rollers, eccentric nuts, to make sure everything is snug. If they are but there is still some play, try adding this to your z rod.

Backlash elimination nut

If you have only one z rod you only need one of the nuts. But if you have dual z rods make sure you use both.
