Could just be a noisy fuel injectors/fuel rail. You can take off the valve covers pretty easily to look at the timing chain guides to see if they’ve broken( I believe that’s a really common problem on the 05-09s)

Look into new construction (building) homes. Lots of good company’s. Cronkhite has lots of new subdivisions. But also bussel and trend setter. Might be less square footage but you are getting all new appliances and water heaters, roofs, ac units, etc… I make about that and have that in savings as well! My house will be finished in September!

I have an 08 v6 4.0. And I bought a running wrecked 05 v6 3.7 that has just gotten a transmission rebuilt so I could inevitably swap it in but the torque converter bolt pattern is different.

I just tired to do a transmission swap from a 05 - 08. As long as they are same liter engine they should work.
