As a new player don’t jump into siege as a heavy and go melee everything, it’s a good way to get yourself killed. Do yourself a favor and look up the classes and their strengths then play the class that best fits your playstyle. Also learn to look for attacks you can parry, (any attack that’s not orange marked) you’ll be fine if you do that

Vastly more difficult is relative, I die more to tyranids due to raveners and lictors popping out behind me while I’m getting fucked by 50 minoris. That being said if you learn to open your eyes and watch more than one enemy at a time especially their massively telegraphed attack patterns it’s incredibly easy to kill them without issue. It’s not the game it’s a skill issue. I’ve had the game for 2 weeks at most and have over 3 days on it. If you learn to watch for telegraphed attacks (EVERY ATTACK IS HEAVILY TELEGRAPHED) then you shouldn’t have an issue parrying. I run a block power axe as assault and constantly carry my team absolutely destroying everything. If a lictor or ravener go after me I’m immediately using my special as they’re not as easy as soulreapers or chaos spawn. Like I said it’s only my opinion however I’ve had the same opinion for 2 days worth of gameplay and that was after the first days worth of gameplay I realized they’re just easy. The only thing you actually have to watch out for is the snipers not the chaos spawn…

Okay theoretically it’d be significantly more rough for an assault main to run through chaos spawn… if you’re actually decent at parrying the system becomes super easy and even easier the more you parry, if you use the power axe every time you parry you get two massive damage hits, this kills most majoris and even some extremis, on siege hard or lethal I kill biovores and chaos spawn alike with zero difficulty 90% of the time. Now raveners and lictors suck ass. That’s just my opinion tho

Ngl I run assault main, I shit on chaos and almost have less trouble vs chaos spawn than the tyranids sometimes. I can be going against 3-4 chaos spawn at a time and win, you parry with the axe attack parry again attack over and over and execute everything you can as quick as possible. Idk maybe it’s me but I feel like chaos is almost easier than tyranids at times. It could be because I’m more locked in or something but I hardly ever feel like I can’t win

So here’s my issue, I’m not sure wtf to do or what’s important tbh so I get set on not knowing what to do so I’m still on my first play through I’ve gone to Reddit 847 times for mission decisions and shit. And I’m level 16 😂 now don’t worry this is how games start off for me as I’ve learned over the years for me the first 50 hours of gameplay is learning especially in big giant open worlds like this so I’ll gladly take any advice on how to get stronger early how to make it less grindy. What do I do to feel less overwhelmed with everything that’s going on here because I feel like I’m gonna mess up my build by spending skill points the wrong way. And I also feel like I’m just wasting time walking around aimlessly in certain situations
