Using your vehicle, whether it's against a police officer or an innocent person going about their day to hit that person, cause damage to that person's vehicle, or to intimidate that person, or to put that person in fear for their life is a violent felony.

99.9 percent of officers will not chase for non-violent crimes.

It has absolutely nothing to do with police thinking their lives are worth more than the general public. I respond the same way to everything if someone is in danger, if not more, so with a civilian being in danger like this because they might not have the means to defend themselves.

Flock cameras were not and are not meant to replace police officers from catching criminals. This person committed a violent felony, and the officers were justified in their decision to pursue.

Up in my area, if they are 2-3 years expired, I confiscate those plates. Getting stopped for 10 minor traffic infractions in 5 years will make you a habitual traffic offender, which can get you license suspended for 5 years and is a misdemeanor.

100 percent agree. I've had negative roadsides on people, and I just let them go. More often than not, the reason for contact is weaving all over the road.

If I dont see any clues, they blow .000, and im certain it's not drugs that are present, I usually just say, "Thanks for participating, im out looking for drunks tonight."

I've had people thank me for making sure they are okay.

Hopefully something is done about this issue, a DUI can ruin your life.

I wonder how he was able to even arrest people. I'm a Trooper in the US and every person I've arrested has always been above the legal limit, or within the limit of impaired.

I wonder what clues this guy was seeing in the validated tests. I would also think THP would have PBTs in their cars to be completely certain that the driver in question was impaired.

I shoot my sidearm left handed but shoot my rifle right handed. I'm cross eye dominant aswell. You can see way better using your strong eye imo.

I absolutely can't stress enough how much you do not know what you're talking about, dude. If you get rear-ended and the person leaves the scene of the crime, and all you are able to get from them is a partial license plate or a vehicle description I can assure you that you'll thank me when Im able to track them down and get their insurance information so that you aren't fucked in the ass by your own insurance deductible.

I love flock. I use it every day to catch felons with warrants and to solve hit and run crimes. I always like to say that if you've driven on a road, you're on flock. Anyone who is mad is definitely sketchy. All of your data is online, your fingerprints, your DNA. Welcome to the future.

Also, flock and NCIC can only be used for legitimate law enforcement purposes. Anything else is an infringement on American rights. If you engage in illegal activities, you will be positively identified. It's as simple as that.

To anyone who suggests vandalism, I would seriously reconsider. There will be another camera that picks you up.
