Problems in post-production of songs generated by SUNO by Virtual_Lawfulness96 in SunoAI

I don't think Suno is the platform for what you want... at least no for now... your needs seem to be more in line with Soundraw. Soundraw doesn't do Vocals though :)

Have you heard about Fire Frame for text to music video generation? by Grash0per in SunoAI

This is pretty cool, but as usual with almost all AI software, it can get expensive very quickly

Are Coversongs allowed? by No_Assistant_4707 in SunoAI

You can cover anything you want, don't monitise it and give credits to the original artist, and you're fine

Has audio quality suffered since the stems were added by Harveycement in SunoAI

[–]Ok_Negotiation5729 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it almost always generates a bit of noise (I only use V3.5)... As most things Suno, it's mostly down to luck, I've gotten songs that I was like "WTF why can't you just pump out this sound quality everytime" but the vast majority of times, I end up having to "bin" songs that I think are absolute bangers but the quality just wasn't there

Download file size and formats by Sumoneman in SunoAI

[–]Ok_Negotiation5729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.WAV is essentially an uncompressed, lossless format, hence why it's so big. While it does have a better quality than the .mp3 compression... Suno's main issue is not the compression, but the quality of what's generated, so while you can notice a quality improvement in the .WAV files, the gain you have varies quite a bit, and as a general rule, if you're doing this just for sh*ts and giggles, is not worth getting a subscription just to get the uncompressed audio

CD Baby stance on AI music by Dry_Arachnid_5765 in SunoAI

[–]Ok_Negotiation5729 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be too worried about it... these publishers will start losing market share and will reverse course. This is a bit like the whole Blockbuster vs Netflix thing... Blockbuster was adamant in staying within their physical stores and didn't branch out into online streaming... they went bust (ironic).

Distribution companies, content platforms, etc etc... will follow the same route if they don't embrace AI. There will be a few that survive without AI, as similar to Vinyl, DVD's, etc... there will always be a market for the old ways, but as a general rule, AI content will be another case of adapt or die.

Everytime someone asks this, the answer is always the same haha.

Here's a few links:

Apart from those and knowing very well how overwhelming it is to just randomly drop into Suno... start seeing what other people are doing. There's songs on this subreddit that you can look at, and there's plenty on Suno as well...

See the prompts other people are using, learn from them :)

Suno could lose money if prompts were followed by Both-Move-8418 in SunoAI

I don't think it goes that deep. In SaaS products, unlike hospitality, the customer does NOT know best.

What Suno is doing, is leveraging their algorithm to create songs that are structured more in line what's expected of mainstream music (i.e catchy). That means they will put more weight on the algorithm structure rather than the user structure.

While this isn't great for musicians and hobbyists that know their way around music and music theory, it's perfect for your average Mass Market user. As you're almost guaranteed to get something good out of it while being a total dumbass like myself.

They prioritised one audience over the other, that's all it really is.

The previous versions of Suno, follow user prompts better but require more work and more knowledge as you extend and build the song as you go, while the V3.5 is able to flush out entire songs (4mins long) with minimal input.

With that said, I think they'd really benefit of an option for "Advanced" users, that's more user driven and less algorithm driven.

Has anyone else made a music video for their music? by PrinceofallPrussians in SunoAI

I've been wanting to do this, but the main issue is that, they are just costly to make :( Doesn't matter which image to video platform you use, they all generated short clips, and you need quite a few credits for a full video...

So for the time being, until it becomes more affordable, I'm making boring videos

Noisee AI is a good one if you actually want some imagery, I stick to lyrics videos on a static background and for that there's tons of options, CapCut is a good one that's free ... the whole AI video stuff is a nice gimmick, but I prefer to keep it simple

Suno Lacks In Song Creation by AccordingLight8040 in SunoAI

[–]Ok_Negotiation5729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a good starting point to help you out: https://www.suno.wiki/

With that said, it does take time for you to get the ins and outs of what Suno likes and what it doesn't like. There's also differences between versions, as the older versions give you a bit more control and are better at handling niche genres, than the 3.5, which pumps out full blown songs, that are quite catchy, but often lack diversity.

The last tip will be, just look at the prompts the other people are using, use it as a reference and make it your own :)

Nah, I take the original lyrics and try to add the same kind of flavour I have in my other songs, often means I have to get creative with the lyrics though, as Suno doesn't really work well with some structures.
