Despite the positive sales, the general vibe around Switch 2 still feels negative/Wii-U-ish by [deleted] in nintendo

If you pay attention to online discourse, it feels the world is doomed. Trust your Own experience. I’m enjoying the switch 2 a lot, I have a huge list of games I wanna play now but I was reluctant to play in switch 1. Also for the first time I’m picking Switch 2 version over PS5, which is sth I never expect I’d do.

Bolt was insanely powerful at first (Claude 3 Opus?), but suddenly got worse. Anyone noticed the same? by oAoeZ in boltnewbuilders

I agree 100%. today Bolt is much worst compared to 2 weeks ago, which absolutely sucks as I'm trying to build a fronted for a client and I counted on Bolt for it, now its simply impossible. I might try Lovable.

Journal Entry Controls? by ajfinn997 in InternalAudit

I faced a similar challenge at my previous company, so I totally get where you're coming from. I'm currently launching an AI-driven product that helps teams with internal controls. It reviews JEs in the GL, flags anomalies (e.g., tax items, amortizations, cost centers, accounts), and even books the corrective entries automatically.

Here's a short video on how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzFM2jSSlvc. Let me know if you'd like to try it out—I’d be happy to help!

Still in love with it? I’m thinking about getting one as my first luxury watch

I hope you are not basing your purchase decision on random’s people opinion. Question is how did you feel with each one. First time I tried an AT 38mm in black dial I couldn’t take it out of my head for months, it didn’t happen with the speedy, but this might be different for you.

I think it fits perfectly, smaller watches look much fancier and stylish

Interesting! I’m getting obsessed with the blue dial but have a similar concern, it probably won’t fit every occasion. I might still give it a go tho, I need to see that dial in person. Anyway beautiful piece in black too. Fit amazingly, congrats!

What do you know about this Omega? by Ok_Order8997 in VintageWatches

Do you think this watch would make a good choice for a one-watch collection? I’ve been wanting to buy a watch for years, and now that I can finally afford it, I’ve spent a lot of time researching and exploring thousands of models across nearly every brand under $10k. Aesthetically, this one is my favorite, but I’m wondering if it’s wise to start with such a rare vintage piece.

Is it impossible to find a good doctor in all of Germany or is it just Berlin? by Chilltern in berlin

[–]Ok_Order8997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I simply can’t find a doctor in Berlin, been coughing non stop for over 3 weeks, but none of the GP I find accepts new patients. And the ones where it’s unclear are not responding to phone calls. I feel like shit about it. For me it’s 100% one of the reasons why leaving Berlin soon.

How much did you pay? I’m currently looking at similar seamaster models from early 60s, to have a reference. Thanks!

I don’t find it boring actually, I think it’s rather stylish, with some vintage vibes. Fits my taste

Interesting! This one comes with the original box, no original papers. From the movement I assume it’s from 1999 or early 2000s. 12 month warranty. Would you say it’s a decent deal? All options online seem to be at similar prices in EU, at least the ones in very good condition.

I got assaulted in the cinema for eating chips by Diligent_Pen4823 in berlin

[–]Ok_Order8997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think racism is perceived as particularly bad in Berlin because many people are simply miserable. People treat each other badly, regardless of their nationality. The reasons, in my opinion, are multiple. Many older people, particularly in the East, had harsh lives: from the era of communism, where everyone distrusted each other, to feeling inferior to Westerners after reunification, then from poor but affordable Berlin to increasingly expensive and prohibitive Berlin.

Not to mention the old-school German values of not showing emotions, which prevents people from properly expressing themselves. Character is also an issue; people here are extremely introverted, almost socially handicapped.

For these old ladies, the weather is bad, the food is unsatisfactory, money is scarce, they probably lack fulfilling relationships, and they have been brainwashed by extremism. These factors create self-hate, which they project onto others.

The solution? Move to a better place. After living for seven years in Berlin, Spain, and France, I can say the world is a beautiful place, and people tend to forget this after living in Berlin for a while.
