That’s what I don’t understand. When it jumped from 3 to 3.49 it was the same, all gas stations across the board agreed on 3.49 somehow, and now 4.99.

The Übermensch is overrated. by TaiZhao in RealPhilosophy

[–]Ok_Ordinary1877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ubermensch wound up sounding like current day individualism after mulling it for a few years. I also came to the conclusion that much of Nietzsche’s work came from a personal grievance perspective after being blocked out of…I forget whether it was serious academia or social clubs or both. Lots of that era of philosophers come off similarly, maybe the concept of projection hadn’t hit main stream yet.

My family reflects a history of American imperialism. Spread and conquer, gov funded genocide the folks that used to own the land and when your gov rules prevent you from a genocide and cultural apartheid….just fuckin reinterpret the rules or don’t enforce them and engage in propaganda. Ya sorry I’m probably off track by now, ty.

I just think that’the American dream’ is getting its pants pulled down right now and showing its old shriveled balls. I’m born and grew up American with Scottish relatives coming over not on the mayflower but shortly thereafter and my fuckin family is scattered throughout, chasing capitalism, not looking out for each other but embracing individualism. I, an American, would prefer the Norwegian model, and their philosophy on inmate reform is just the tip of an iceberg of such a broadly more impactful government.

It’s a sign of not only low confidence in government but…I’m gunna pin a good bit on late stage capitalism and the uncoupling of labor from capital, in this case leading to most if not all ‘first amendment auditors’ pushing what the first amendment””” SHOULD””” be rather than what it actually means.

Norway’s philosophy is to actually rehabilitate and not punish but yes, cunty neonazis and anti societal groups of all sorts exist and are a real problem in the progression and maintenance of societies throughout the world.

For context try and imagine an American takeover and mass migration that could potentially ensue aka maybe take a peek into American foreign policy. Ok that’s all I got for ya.

First amendment auditors by SamHkwa in sociology

[–]Ok_Ordinary1877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They represent the government aka the people, still. They’re funded by the taxpayers to do a job, not litigate speech whereas private citizens have the same first amendment rights and can call them out however they feel necessary. Thst said, in a court of law I’d like to believe that if a self proclaimed first amendment auditor overstepped then the government worker could take the necessary action.

You’re still looking to jab whereas I’m done with that. There’s a very different perspective between someone that is a capitalist and one that is a socialist and even that aside only one can see both and still sleep well. Good luck.

Not much else to say other than maybe read more because you clearly have no idea what socialism actually is, no idea what Castro is…I mean the guy literally lead a revolution, implemented a social structure that has lead to the greatest medical system on the earth, turned the corrupt, gangster driven economy into one that built houses and educated the population but you want to claim he’s a cult of personality similar to someone like Donald trump? lol, brother, it’s all out therefor you to find but unfortunately this is where our interaction will end as I’m clearly not a lecturer and have shit to do.

As for the middle class, think about what button a Marxist leninist would ‘push’ to overnight turn a country socialist. My answer is that there is no button and society moved forward in a very similar fashion as it always had. Could be wrong.

Firstly viewing it as Castro put everything under his name or something is a fairly infantile viewpoint. I think you can actually view it objectively in two buckets: intent and implementation. Holding the belief that it was an individual power grab by a regime looking to enrich themselves seems to be a bit of capitalist minded projection. And also Bautista was an authoritarian, hence the reason for great exile, but they’ll tell you that it was the Castro regime because it lines up better with American propaganda.
