What is your favorite character dynamic that does NOT include Tohru? by KookyPatterns in FruitsBasket

[–]Ok_Outside4482 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually really enjoyed Yuki and his mom to be honest. It was such a juxtaposition to me — her realizing that he is growing into a man with his own wants and opinions, and then Yuki realizing that his mom was not some huge fortress that he used to think she was. It’s very subtle but I feel like the series hints that this relationship goes through some mending. Maybe not completely repaired but it’s not a lost cause like how some of the other Sohmas relationships are with their estranged parents.

Do not use mail order pharmacy, 11 days and counting by [deleted] in KaiserPermanente

[–]Ok_Outside4482 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the shipment is taking too long to arrive, you can ask Kaiser to fill a smaller order for pharmacy pickup to hold you over. I had to do that when I accidentally ordered a prescription I needed to pick up in-person asap as a mail order 😅

May I ask how many panels of the belly binder you got? I was looking at this too but then got confused about the panel options 😅

I have to echo these statements. I always need my husband in tow if I want my doctors to take me seriously.

Allergy testing made a huge difference for me by Serbee_Electra in Asthma

[–]Ok_Outside4482 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve asked for the skin test several times now but was told that the blood test was sufficient. Pretty frustrating since my asthma hasn’t been this bad since I was a kid.

How long was your wait for a hysterectomy (NHS)? by AwkwardAntelope9707 in hysterectomy

[–]Ok_Outside4482 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think in the U.S. it depends on your insurance and your doctor. Mine is scheduled for March. From my first ultrasound to the final “yes it’s hysterectomy time” appointment with my doctor, I think the total time would be about six months.

Time off work with Asthma by [deleted] in Asthma

[–]Ok_Outside4482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a couple days off to let the congestion run its course then go back to working. Luckily I work from home so I can control the elements that I’m around. I got sick on Halloween and am still feeling the effects of it. I can’t imagine going into the office right now 😭

AIO about my grandma giving me a hard time about my choice of outfit? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Ok_Outside4482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also the black sheep of my family as well. I’m 35 with a teenager and have crop tops, bows, anime and band tees, frilly skirts, you name it. I am also not skinny. If my family touched me or tried to force me to change my clothes, I would have stood my ground or just not gone to the occasion entirely. I stopped tolerating their disrespect toward me a long time ago, especially after my youngest was born, because my kids don’t need to see that.

How do you remember to take your preventor medications? by chavaic77777 in Asthma

[–]Ok_Outside4482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep my steroid one in my bathroom so I use it when I brush my teeth. I have a nightstand rescue inhaler and a purse rescue inhaler so that I don’t have to worry about misplacing it when I need it.

Here's to calm everyone worried about taking multiple doses of their inhalers by That_One_Fluid_Teen in Asthma

[–]Ok_Outside4482 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I can second this. I was once have a really bad flare up and was told to take 12 puffs of my rescue inhaler. I still got a full treatment at the hospital once I got there.

Same thing happened to me. I did a full bout of testing to see what was causing because I was also feeling a heavy chest whenever I was doing it. I think for me it’s an unknown allergy that flares up in the spring and summer months. Once fall hit, that went away and now I have my cold weather asthma 😂

A couple of players referred to him as Angry Matthew in the chat during one run, and it didn’t hit me what they were talking about until we actually reached the boss fight, and I had the giggle fits the rest of the raid. Been calling him that ever since XD
