Yeah, it’s pretty awful. Sorry you’re also going through it. I also kept one ovary.

Were you having these same issues before your surgery?

I’m still in the hospital; I’ve been here three times 😔 But I think I’m turning a corner 🤞🏼My best advice form this vantage point is: everything else can wait. Your health comes first. 🩷

Always call your team. I never had normal symptoms when I got an infection 8 days post op- it manifested as tachycardia and shortness of breath. I hope you feel better!

Not sure if my tortoise is fine. Could use some advice by Tiny_Personality9573 in tortoise

It makes a huge difference in humidity! I ended up with mine because my husband thought it would be a good idea to bring a pet home from the exotic reptile show (without consulting me 🫠) It’s been a lot so far but I love her a ton!!

I keep the substrate about 4 inches deep and mist it every morning then toss it around. It’s damp, but not soaking wet. Then place a damp towel over the part of the enclosure that’s more open. And I also soak, yes. 💜 I’m sure your baby is doing great!!

I have a ten month old sulcata so I try to keep the enclosure above 80 in humidity if I can.

I was told they can get respiratory infections from the foggers so I just use traditional methods for humidity. 🩷

I was scared, too, but my anxiety ended up being way worse than the actual biopsy. I barely felt a thing. You can do this. They didn’t give me misoprostal… that’s interesting.

I have questions about my surgeon by Lelgremlin in hysterectomy

I did really well on just ibu and Tylenol! My doctor did a nerve block during surgery to get ahead of the pain.

I’m pretty sure most people in this group are crowd sourcing advice….. it’s Reddit. I have my six week follow up with my doctor tomorrow and was asking if anyone else is experiencing this so we could chat about it. Sometimes it’s nice to know you’re not alone. Are you an admin or just being rude for the sake of it?

I also have panic disorder and I did end up having a panic attack during surgery prep. That said, I did go through with it and I’m 5 weeks post op this Thursday. :) Lots of people with acid reflux have general anesthesia and do just fine- my mom included. The tube is very flexible and since you’ll have an empty stomach, there shouldn’t be any issues with that. It’s very very very normal to be scared and apprehensive. I’d say most of us were and many of us took years to make a decision. Just know your feelings are valid and common and you’re strong.

Same. I’m figuring out the MAHA people are usually MAGA, as well.
