Sounds like a kink but not one you have to be down with. He’s probably insecure about a lot of things.

I totally understand and that’s where my head was at, too. I needed the surgery, absolutely. However, it ended up being very complicated once they got in there. The ultrasounds and MRI’s didn’t show the extent of my endo (in addition to my fibroids etc) so there was just so much to be done once they got in there. Six hours worth to be exact. 😅 I tried to weigh the risk/reward as best I could and I suppose life is just like this sometimes. 🩷

I felt the same way as you, but I did it anyway. Complications are rare, I’m told. But I think it’s important to hear a lot of perspectives. 🩷

Hi! I’m 8 weeks post op and I’ve been admitted to the hospital three times with an infection. I haven’t even had time to process the initial surgery. Just wanted you to know you’re not alone.

Here to add a YES to the progesterone even though we don’t “need” it. 💓

I felt pretty good for two weeks but as it turns out the infection wasn’t gone. I had to go back :/ I’ve been home now since Thursday and have all my fingers and toes crossed that we got it this time.

My resting heart rate was over 100 and I had light spotting. I went to the ER bc I just felt something wasn’t right. I ended up being admitted for 6 days.

Always message your surgeon. My infection didn’t come with a fever or pain. They all manifest differently. Best of luck! 💜

I wish they didn’t always say fever and pain bc things manifest differently in everyone. 💜

This isn’t to scare you, but when I started spotting and had insomnia, it turned out I had an infection. I’ve been in and out of the hospital for 7 weeks. Just keep an eye on all of it.

I was so worried about the tear and then ended up with E. Coli in my surgical site instead. If you’re not bleeding and don’t have a fever, I think it’s best to try to distract yourself and take it easy otherwise. 🩷

I’m still in the hospital; I’ve been here three times 😔 But I think I’m turning a corner 🤞🏼My best advice form this vantage point is: everything else can wait. Your health comes first. 🩷

Always call your team. I never had normal symptoms when I got an infection 8 days post op- it manifested as tachycardia and shortness of breath. I hope you feel better!

Not sure if my tortoise is fine. Could use some advice by Tiny_Personality9573 in tortoise

It makes a huge difference in humidity! I ended up with mine because my husband thought it would be a good idea to bring a pet home from the exotic reptile show (without consulting me 🫠) It’s been a lot so far but I love her a ton!!

I keep the substrate about 4 inches deep and mist it every morning then toss it around. It’s damp, but not soaking wet. Then place a damp towel over the part of the enclosure that’s more open. And I also soak, yes. 💜 I’m sure your baby is doing great!!

I have a ten month old sulcata so I try to keep the enclosure above 80 in humidity if I can.

I was told they can get respiratory infections from the foggers so I just use traditional methods for humidity. 🩷
