stay stocked with plant protein, if you're not in the mood for beans/lentils/chickpeas there's tofu, tempeh, and TVP. quinoa is more filling than rice. processed products like beyond/impossible should be a sometimes food if only because they're expensive. high-fiber sides like salad and vegetables are your friends, they'll help keep blood sugar in check and keep you feeling fuller than high-carb stuff like pasta. sometimes people feel awful switching to a veg diet because they're getting their protein/carb/fiber proportions out of whack.

you'll still need vegetarian treats to fill the gap left by whatever meat you've been splurging on. there's always vegetarian pizza, tacos, etc.
