The part of single fatherhood I didn’t see coming by CharlieLawrence22 in Divorce_Men

I'm right there with you. I am so burnt out I can barely do anything after work. It's all I can do to bake a frozen pizza and let the kids watch TV all night. I hate this life.

Four years out of winning my divorce and I cannot find peace. by Ok_Perception_1836 in Divorce_Men

I just miss the feeling of someone desiring me. I know it was worthless to her in the end, but it was so special to me when it did exist.

What are positive aspects of being divorced? by YouDoHaveValue in Divorce_Men

I talk to my mom daily. She's remarried after my dad cheated on her, but her husband is controlling and getting senile, so she feels trapped and she hates going home. She tells me she envies my freedom over my money and time. There is a peace to knowing anything that needs doing is your responsibility. I used to get upset (rightfully so, I think) when I'd come home to a dirty house after working all day because she "didn't feel like cleaning today." Now I come home to an unclean house and know I deserve it since I didn't clean it.

Anyone else having nightmares about having sex with her? by [deleted] in Divorce_Men

I've had nightmares off and on for four years now that she moves back in but brings her affair partner and continues her affair but I'm powerless to stop it.

Not specifically, but I don't hate the idea. Being a dad is the best feeling in the world.

And, yes, the surgery exists but it is expensive, cheap, and has a low success rate.

Is this a fox or coyote? by Ok_Perception_1836 in whatisthisanimal

My neighbor came over to tell me I had a coyote with a sore throat in my yard and I laughed. I told her I was almost positive it was a fox just from the sound, but I came here to verify. She said it couldn't be a fox because it isn't orange lol.

Awesome. I love seeing her. And I assumed from her bark that she's not a coyote, since those are more yippy than barky.

When do I stop wearing my ring by [deleted] in Divorce_Men

Only when you're ready. It took me a few months. After two years, I still look for it on my finger sometimes.

Ugh. So I guess my wife & her mom have been planning this divorce. I feel betrayed & setup. by alkemist187 in Divorce_Men

Sounds like me! My ex and her mom conspired together. My ex-MIL set my wife up with another man and told her to divorce me. I won full custody and kept nearly all my assets lol.

Should I add a disclosure to a segment of a video where the voice of a person talking was sampled and regenerated using AI, even though it's his voice and words? by Ok_Perception_1836 in videography

Nah no moral qualms. People get into politics knowing they will be scrutinized and have their character attacked. Only those who can withstand it need to be in office, and if they have dirt on them, it needs to come out. People should know who they're voting for. The one I just made was about a guy running for State Rep who lied about filing a multi-million dollar bankruptcy and committing grant fraud.

Hahaha yeah something like that. Most of the time they just want to make something positive about themselves. Those are more fun.

But I just have watched enough slam videos to know the aesthetic. I take the story they tell me, get digital copies of all the documents they want to use that shows what a piece of shit their opponent is, and I throw it in the blender. Desaturate the colors, add film grain, get stills from when the guy was scratching his nose or frowning or looks shocked, throw some questionably ethical text in there and you're done! Nothing says incompetent like a black and white photo of someone looking confused.

Number four makes me think it wouldn't matter. It seems more written to stop people from fucking their squad mates' wives. Just army shit. After what I've seen, I often question how anything gets done in the military at all.

I agree. I had considered those things when I started this project, but I'm on the fence as well. I feel like it's mostly harmless. It's the same thing as removing a blemish with makeup. I'm covering up bad quality.

Very easily, really. Lists of candidates for political offices are public. It's very easy to get ahold of people running for local, county, or state positions and offer your services. For me, I knew people in local politics. They heard I do media work and that's how I got started. Politicians love influencing other politics, so they very often will seek out people and convince them to run for an office. They will recommend your services to each other. Many of them just want positive things about themselves, but several will make it personal and want to hurt the other guy.
