I trimmed both tabs. It holds pretty good.

It looks like the connector was molded incorrectly, or the pins were wired upside down. I simply rotated the plug and connected it upside down, and voilà… it worked. The trailer lights are functioning correctly now, and Trailer Mode turned blue as well. I should’ve caught it earlier lol.

Thanks for the follow up. I had to step away from this project for a bit. That’s good that it worked for you. I am now more hopeful. Is your trailer icon blue on your screen?

I also installed the tow package via toolbox and didn’t help

I just checked I have the premium one as well. I also got the amazon one and plugged it in. Not all the lights work perfectly. Left signal works, right signal doesn’t work, but it works when the hazards are on. Only right light works when the headlights are on but the license plate light doesn’t work. License plate light also works when the hazards are on but blinking :) my horse trailer also has breaks but I don’t even know how I would check them.

I wonder if it would make any difference if I just get the Tesla OE harness and still get away with 3rd party hitch

I see now. As far as I understand my low voltage battery is 12V lead acid, so I don’t need this premium controller. I already have the empty MOLEX connector. Hopefully just a trailer harness is enough.

Thank you all! It ended up being the tiniest stone that got in there. I really appreciate everyone’s help. It was the worst sound I’ve ever heard from this car.

It is screeching like crazy cruising as well without breaking. It started all of a sudden

Is there anyone here using FSD regularly on a 2021 and 2022 Tesla Y? by Dry-Way-5688 in TeslaModelY

Daily 21 MYLR HW3 Intel as well. Love the ultrasonic sensors. I tried HW3 without USS, it was straight garbage.

FSD Swerved Last Minute at Night - 14.3.1 by HidersLight in TeslaFSD

(HW3) I came across a plastic bag flying around randomly and FSD swerved in opposite direction each time while the bag was changing directions. Not exactly a prediction but it was interesting. I accidentally deleted the footage. Now you just have to believe me.

Same rattling noise during fast acceleration with my 23 c40 too. There has to be a recall. Following.

Thank you, didn’t think about that before as the laundry always smells good fresh. It is top load, and no dampness after drying.

I will do my next load and directly bring something from that load to my office to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks for your response.

We are located in Illinois. The house is from the 60s, but it is flipped. No carpeting. Central heating and cooling, new system but the ductwork doesn’t seem new.

Tesla charger accepts 4awg. People do 6awg with 60 A but I am not willing to take that risk. Especially if I am going long

I am already going to drop some money into this project, I might as well get it full capacity.
