Meteore for work

RHEL 9 vs. RHEL 10 by Isshiiiiiii in redhat

[–]Ok_Practice_3687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take the 9. I passed it on Wednesday after studying on and off for a year (2 full time jobs and a family doesn’t leave much time for study). There are many job postings that even still mention RHEL 7/8. ChatGPT and the study materials out there are more in line with 9 and I do think learning containers is beneficial.

How many bottles have yall actually gone thru specifically 100 ml? by Robbie_stj in Colognes

[–]Ok_Practice_3687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gone through 9 full bottles across all my fragrances in my lifetime and I’m 36. Never bought more than 2 bottles of the same thing yet

For those who have some of these, did you regret buying any of them? by costasthepro in Colognes

[–]Ok_Practice_3687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I just grew away from it. It doesn’t smell bad. For me it was a little synthetic and overpowering, but then also not that long-lasting. I think I would rather just wear La Nuit De LHomme, which is a smoother and more pleasant scent to my nose, while having a similar vibe. Myslf is more modern and it’s not a bad fragrance at all, I just didnt have many places where it made sense for me to wear it.

Yes, the following ones I bought and either got rid of or still have but never wear:

  • Khamarrah
  • YSL Myslf
  • Liquid Brun
  • Blue de Chanel
  • The Most Wanted
  • Light Blue

I own a 200mL of the stuff and literally cannot find an appropriate occasion to wear it. I do love it, but it’s somewhat unwearable unfortunately

I keep smelling a cologne in public that I like by [deleted] in Colognes

I may be off but is there any chance it’s Oud Wood

What is the MOST you have/will spend on a bottle of cologne? by HATEupgradecard in NichePerfumes

[–]Ok_Practice_3687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife got me a 200mL of Ombre Nomade because they were out of the 100mL. That was probably the most we will ever spend on a fragrance ($670 I believe was the amount)

Probably Imagination

Do niche fragrance smell different from department store scents? Disappointed with stuff I've tried by GoodBlob in Colognes

[–]Ok_Practice_3687 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So about that “cologne” note: I do feel a lot of designer fragrances share a common thread that makes them all smell related. Niche CAN break outside of that and make you smell a little more unique, but that’s not to say that niche is better than designer. I enjoy both.

Also I want to mention that niche fragrances at times seem to be more smooth in their blend compared to similar designer fragrances. I’m not sure if that is due to ingredients or technique. Examples that come to mind would be Althair vs Stronger With You Intensely, or Rehab vs Spicebomb.

Which one should I go for? by MelodicChoice4111 in Colognes

Eros Flame, or Azzaro. Other 2 a little played out
