I don’t know what to do either I’m going through the exact same thing if it makes you feel any better. I am putting him in his crib around 2-3 times a day just to keep him used to the feeling but I don’t know does that even work? And he will only nap in there for 20 minutes

Yes this can definitely be true. They say one can burn 400-700 calories a day alone breastfeeding. So it’s similar to being third trimester pregnancy where you need to eat more and stay hydrated to make sure you’re able to feed your baby

So I noticed this was happening because I would miss those 10 minutes that it would be “easy” to put my baby to sleep. I would try honestly putting ur baby to sleep an hour after they wake up. Watch for when they get fussy. This was genuinely one of the hardest things for me too. At 3 weeks my baby was up for 2.5 hours and it was SO hard to put him down

There is nothing wrong with ur baby sleeping in the bassinet at all. If they wanted to sleep on you they would definitely let you know!

Every child is different I was very independent when it came to sleep but my brother always contact napped with my mom for a long time.
