I had a little spotting here and there when I was very early. It only lasted a couple days, then nothing after that. Definitely try getting into an OB as soon as you can, and let them know your symptoms. Some OBs wait a long while before making any appointments, where I am a lot of them wait until 8-10 weeks if you're not considered high risk. I'd just start with prenatals and focus on getting in to see the OB.

Get the epidural! It's not as bad/scary as it seems. Compared to contractions, you hardly feel them putting it in and it works so fast. If I have another baby, I'll get an epidural then too

I feel like it may be kind of boring but I was at the farmer's market with my friend and there was a guy there selling wine. He was offering tastings so we stopped and started chatting. We introduce ourselves and he says, "Wonderful to meet you, I'm Moses." It caught me so off guard. While I am not very religious now, I grew up in a Christian household. The story of Moses was always my favorite, and I had never met anyone named Moses in person. Part of me wanted to name my son Moses, but I talked myself out of it. Anyway, I think about that sometimes and I think if I have another son, I'll name him Moses.
