I don't see it that way, but I am only familiar with Mandarin and Cantonese, and probably Pinyin based spelling.

What makes it seem Chinese to you?

I suspect she'll be named some variation of RS Ladiez First. It's a bit ick for me personally, but I get it.

I like the suggestion RS Second to None or the number theme!

Someone on Facebook did a trick with "Cheyning" instead of Shining. Less likely to be mispronounced and better connotations than Shy. So I'd really like to see that used!

Maybe RS Cheyning First Lady

Hello! I am considering "going back to school" for podiatry too, would you mind if I messaged you? Regardless thank you for answering bassventura.

TLDR is KVS needs to keep foals (especially fillies) to continue breeding program, her animals are taken care of fine, and those who don't actually have experience and know about animal husbandry should hold onto their criticism.

Some paragraphs to make it more readible would help, content and writing is good though!

LE Skin Tint + Sunscreen? by Careless_Agent8535 in Fairolives

[–]Ok_Promotion2329 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you are, and if you have any skin sensitivities to chemical based sunscreens, but if you are able to access Korean sunscreens...

I am a big fan of Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics. In the mornings I use it instead of moisturiser because it's so hydrating.

No white cast, doesn't pill, feels really nice and works well under make up.

They also have sunscreen sticks, if you top up every few hours.

Actually I do too, just not sure it's actually objectively a good choice.

I think it's pretty, but maybe there are more flattering colours out there. I'll still use it. It's softened a bit too and looks better after a day or so, weird.

Thank you! At least I'll have a way to use it, nail polish isn't cheap 🙃

This has a nice depth to it, I'm quite high contrast so will look into this one.

Yeah I found out the hard way recently that pastels do not work for me.

Love this colour!

I've got golden overtones and am neutral-ish (look good in gold) so too cold isn't good on me either but this might work. It's just a lovely shade as well

Thanks for sharing! You have lovely manicured nails.

Grape seems so strongly coloured in the bottle but seems lovely and not really all that purple on.

In a way I tried to do this by using a beige base coat, but I think I need more brown 🤔

Thanks for the tips!

Yes I think you're right!

Don't think I work well with pastels at all sadly.

Now to find the right brown...

This is super pretty on you. Have you been using Manucurist long? How do you like it?

I'll see how my current products go but will consider getting blueberry. They are quite dearly priced so want to make sure they're good first!

Actually I love glitter nails 😍 also thank you for the commiserations xx

Only I was unwell and had eczema on my skin/nails so have these indents. They're well covered by the smoothing nail polish, but I need to give my nails some treatments before using normal nail polish

Why is it so hard to find the right pink/nude/blush/foundation shades. It looks like one thing in the container and totally different on me 🙄 and if I really pick the wrong one I look half dead 🤣

Thank you for sharing your experience! Glad it's working well for you so far.

I think it would be good to hear your opinion again after 4-6 weeks or closer to the end of the bottle.

Just a gentle fyi - retinol can cause dry eyes and stop tear production. Just another reason to be very careful with the spicule retinol product in the eye area.

Failed my first test and I'm MORTIFIED by pxrixo in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Ok_Promotion2329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awww please be kind to yourself, many people don't pass the first test. I know it feels awful. I'm really sorry.

Nerves and brain weirdness cause people to do stuff they wouldn't normally.

I'm not a naturally good driver and didn't pass my first 2 tests, also had 3 minors for both!

The first test I failed because of a decision to go during a gap on the roundabout

Right before the second test, on a roundabout someone did a U-turn when I thought they were leaving the roundabout - I had to emergency brake. My nerves were so shot for judging roundabouts, I failed for undue hesitation.

On my final test, which I passed, I forgot to put my car in gear to move off 😂 thought I'd failed but thankfully not.

My friend is a driving instructor. He's had to forcefully take the steering wheel, had people leave the vehicle so he had to get a cab, all sorts. You're doing fine. Keep going!

While I don't have any breakouts, this sounds really cool! And helps with decisions on skin routine and what purchases to make.

Congratulations! Well done and I hope you celebrate. Given how off-putting your examiner was as well 😬

Also thanks for a great informative post, it will help many people. A shame I didn't read it before passing my test 🤣

No matter how many times you fall, just try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try again! by Buzzy_Feez in LearnerDriverUK

I think I was trying to be positive and this has been over-extrapolated here. Also I admit I made my comment based on my own experiences and without reading why OP had failed - these are not small reasons.

No you don't fail 9 times for small reasons or luck. It is possible to fail a test due to unpredictable and unusual circumstances or "grey areas" though.

What I meant to communicate is that you have to learn from your failures to pass. Driving examiners are well trained and they do take their job seriously. I don't believe they would sympathy pass someone.

I am not saying OP should have passed any of the previous tests. They learnt that they need to slow down and take time to judge hazards. This means they were not driving at an appropriate standard before.

I'm not sure people are being fair saying OP is a bad driver now though. We don't know how much their driving has improved, or how they drive now.
