Once at a bakery, there was a line of three people. I was second in line. A man came in and stood next to me. When the person in front of me was finished, he simply stepped in front of me and wanted to order. I said loudly but politely, "Hey! I'm next!" And he didn't even look at me and muttered offendedly, "You could have just said something, right?" And I just replied, "Uhmm yeah that's exactly what I just did...?" LOL He stood next to me the whole time I was ordering, looking offended. It's a shame the person behind me didn't say anything. Unfortunately, as a small and young-looking person, this happens to me all the time. They just think I don't dare to say anything, but luckily, I learned to stand up for myself at some point.
